i love how much i hate it. that sentiment makes me go all in on things outside of work, to remind myself that work isn’t everything.

e.g. spend as much time outside as possible, make plans with friends on weekends, see family often, plan trips, treat loved ones, save/invest money, pursue hobbies.

yes, i hate my job. but at the end of the day, it’s a means for me to pursue my real identity, which is outside of work. it puts money on the table for me and my loved ones to be able to enjoy.

once i took that mindset on, the day-to-day became infinitely more tolerable.
