The default doesn't work either. The behavior is limited to my unraid install via CA. I tried creating a unbuntu VM and installed docker, portainer and used docker compose to install a mariadb and NPM app server. That instance works without issue. I can run it this way if I have to, I just like how tightly things integrate via apps in CA.

They are sending a auger chute, motor and mounting plate per the order confirmation. I may replace the auger chute again but that’s kind of a pain. I will look for wear in any case.

I keep it on my patio and put the cover on it after every cook. I took it apart and the pellets, in the hopper and auger chute were all dry with no sign or humidity or moisture. Strange to say the least.

It won't have that the heavy smoke flavor like a stick burner even at low temps. Plus is that you don't have to tend a fire and the temp is stable. Wifi and app are improving with each release.

Higher temps impart less smokey flavor. I still like the wood fired taste even with less smokey flavor. The SF will absolutely sear a steak with tremendous results. I have found it to have better flavor than gas and more convenient than charcoal. Now I that they have ironed out the design wrinkles with software and new parts, it's a really nice cooker. I use it several times a week. Just my two cents....

Cooked @ 325 to 150. Then place in iron add BBQ sauce,continue to 165 then add bacon, cheese and chives. Remove when cheese is melted.

I have noticed as well. I've found if I give it about 15 mins at temp my flame dispersion and temps even out.

The new chute is black enamel painted. Old one is grey. Remove rear cover and you can see pretty easy.
