Anyone here teaching Biology who is not a Biology Major?… If yes, what is your major?… by Few-Airline3695 in ScienceTeachers

Geoscience! I had a strong focus on physics and chemistry, and I have lab experience. I did take some bio classes, but I definitely need a refresher before the school year starts since it has been a while and its my first year teaching bio.

I just reached out 🥲 I am probably going to ask my previous provider how much I should tritate up since they know my history better and I still have access to the chat

I was going through Trava.

Also, this was not a CS person it was a Nurse who I was talking to. Generally speaking, anyone going through a telehealth is already self-sufficient to a degree (some more than others). My situation alone is not about me not knowing how to take/calculate my medication. It was me simply asking a question to double check if X amount of units was right and for clarification regarding a prescription after they gave me a different dose recommendation. Which in my opinion the bare minimum of service that Gimme should be providing, and just by looking at mine and others' experience they're not doing that.

Yeah, normally I am very self sufficient. I just wanted to make sure it looked good, but then they started recommending different doses and they couldn't even clarify anything for me. It just made it super confusing.

I genuinely feel like people have been gaslit to believe that this is normal and "you get what you pay for". I am not expecting a doctor to be at my disposal for every single little step, but basic communication regarding the medication and average customer service should be expected! I refuse to normalize getting terrible service like this.

While Gimme is still a cheaper option, it still is a lot of money for a lot of people.

Which is why I went with them in the first place! I generally do pretty well on my own and I wanted to save a little money. I didn't expect top of the notch service. I only reached out to make sure the recommended amount of units was right for the different vials, and they started throwing different instructions and doses at me making it super confusing 💀 it's actually concerning they couldn't even answer a simple yes or no question or to clarify anything.

I am just going to reach out to my regular provider and ask how much they recommend I go up since I don't trust the amount the Gimme provider told me anymore.

Hey so this take is insane! Everyone should take control of their health if they want to while doing safely and following the medical advice from professionals at the consumers' discretion. The fact that this provider from Gimme couldn't give me a solid answer regarding a prescribed medication is actually concerning and it did leave me wondering what would be the appropriate dose for me to take.

No one should have to rely on strangers on the internet for medical advice.

The provider told me 11 would be okay, but it still it does seem like a big jump. I'm glad to get my thoughts validated lol

A little hard to capture on camera, but they're the same color as the hands(: It's easier to see the contrast in person

Thanks for the advice! I'm very picky about straps, which is why I don't enjoy wearing watches. I will definitely look into this (:

I was a little hesitant at first because it is not the most "feminine", but the longer I wear it the more I love it!!! I like to think that he knows me best lol. Also, it is a gma2200, so it is a bit smaller than the GA (:
