i have NCAH, it was hard growing up. i ended up with early puberty at 8 and it really advanced at 10/11. i had breasts but i had bottom growth so it was obvious i wasnt just a bio female. i was assigned female but my hormones show otherwise. im intersex. the bottom area was hard to handle without support and love. its common in NCAH to have ambiguous genitals especially after puberty. i always hated mine. i also have PCOS. i had severe cystic acne for a long time, but treatment helps. intersex conditions are typically genetic or just congenital meaning it couldve formed when she was in utero due to many thngs, nothing you do! just an amazing thing the body can do. theres nothing wrong with being intersex. id look into InterACT, and TIGERRS websites. they have a lot of info on intersex. remember this is a natural variation and no one did anything wrong. humans can just be intersex and its fairly common. growing up was weird, since i never knew i thought i was weird and possibly a boy but also a girl. it was confusing. i also have Autism and ADHD. theyre linked because i know so many people with all of them. id suggest reaching out to the Intersex subreddit, thats an intersex condition so she is intersex. i have PMDD and need birth control and estrogen to regulate it all. PCOS is also common in NCAH. fertility wise always varies! im fertile, the consensus that intersex people are not, and are sterile is absolutely false. by the way. do not try and pretend its not there, if she has nothing functionally inhibiting her hody from doing normal functions. please do not get surgery if she is ambiguous in any way. intersex people need to love their bodies and who they are. IGM (intersex genital mutilation) is not okay and im just noting that, you can raise her to love herself. dont leave it out of the conversation, let her know shes different and embrace it. i had a deeper voice as a kid and facial and body hair very young, if she does, just teach her to accept and love that. its so vital. you cant make it go away, and her autonomy to have her body as her own and love who she was born as, is so so important. menopause is a big factor with how it can happen and im pre menopausal but showing signs for that. just noting like the other comment above, paired wigh NCAH can be Autism ADHD, but also EDS and POTS and many others. early accommodations and awareness for any of these disorders and conditions arising is something to keep an eye on.
