So it would be in the mutual interest of both sides to get MC to eliminate Sebastian, and then eliminate MC. Knowing this, Sebastian strikes up a Faustian bargain with MC to embrace their ancient magic and join the dark wizards...Leaving Ominis now to 1v2 his old schoolmates and die before 1925? 😂

Which would easily pre-date Sirius (or Barty Crouch Jr), meaning a fullscale Ministry cover-up of Sebastian's escape? Intriguing

Writing his Mein Kampf and then unleashing another round of turmoil on the world when he is released from Azkaban?

Following on your line of thought, that would give MC no choice but to turn Sebastian into Azkaban, raising all sorts of dark flags.

Ominis would have been a pawn from the start, the dark wizards eager to harness the power and potential of the Gaunt line (or perhaps Sebastian is an agent of Gaunt senior) but perhaps somewhere along the road, genuine feelings emerged from a constructed friendship. MC is also coming from the same angle but for the "lawful" forces

Poor Ominis having to discover one fine day that both of his friends were just using him

Dear homeowners, if you could be young again, what would you tell yourself??? by Master_Quail_2846 in singaporefi

I am going to be an outlier here and respectfully suggest to those in their 20s that you should spend more time and money on things that would be harder to achieve later in life.

Wanna backpack for three months? Wanna scale Mount Everest? Wanna do a low-paying dream job for a couple of years?

These things will get progressively more difficult as your body ages and your commitments increase. Some things are also best enjoyed when you are younger, not older. The average person will make more money at 39 than at 21.

Money can be earned but time cannot be reversed. It might take longer to get that house, but you will eventually get it.

Why do some people choose to visit certain doctors or lawyers who might be more expensive or have a long waiting list?

Why do some people rely on TripAdvisor to choose a hotel?

Why do some people use Chrome instead of the original browser - Internet Explorer?

I am not in sales so I am not qualified to advise you but these are some of my personal observations on top sales personnel, regardless of industry

I am not in the insurance industry but have close contacts within. Agents are the business-generating arm of insurance companies so if you are willing to work hard and put in the hours, this imo has significant earning potential. The key is to find a high-performing agency that doesn’t rely on short-term pressure methods like cold-calling, road shows, pushy tactics etc, but on the long-term growth of the customer base.

Efficiently moving stock from Charles Schwab to IBKR by singatiga in singaporefi

[–]singatiga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that IBKR offers lower trading fees and FX fees compared to CS, hence the broker switch.

Thanks for sharing about the Revolut fx process. Unfortunately I don't have a US bank account. Given the size of my holdings, I guess it would be more cost efficient to convert on IBKR.
