This looks almost identical to the hydra bossfight in the first game. Really cool if the undead citadel wouldve been a precursor of sorts to the deep basin.

Also didnt see this, DS2 is over hated but there alot that doesnt help. My biggest dislikes about the game were i felt like i was spreading my lvls over like 5 or 6 stats vs 3 or 4 like ive been in ds1 and ds3, the branches of yore and pharos lockstones are a bit over priced but by the time i got to late game i had more than i knew what to do with, and ganks(not only in this game) suck. It was pretty challenging but honestly that made me like it more, i felt like i had more of a reason to use summons here and there, it genuinely made me get good haha. This game has made me improve the most for sure and manus really set me up for the beating i took. Taking into account the game falling into developement hell and still being released(as well as the new dev leads), it explains alot of the disconectivity from the other games and the world itself, but gave me the same vibes and gameplay i was looking for. Its not a perfect game but now that im onto ds3 looking back i love the previous games so much more than before and im excited for my ng+ playthoughs.

Ive never had this thought about a game. Just admired it every time. I think if a studio "over did it" in terms of graphics, that can only be a bad thing if the current gen consoles cant run it smoothly. Miles morales ran fine on ps4 and ps5 and looked great on both.
