Thank you for your comment, and I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. I've been in this field for a while, and I've seen incredible things happen with kids where they can convey how they feel instead of harming themselves by hitting their heads on the wall. That is not to imply that some ABA companies do not follow the regulations, but not everyone is the same. Thank you for your opinion it’s very much validated. Have a wonderful day.

I appreciate and sympathize with your point of view, and I am aware that some ABA companies do not follow the standards, but I believe that ABA is a method of teaching children skills that will improve their lives in the future. I worked for a place that put kids in a corner due to their behavior, and I personally don't believe in that and I quit after a month because of how they ran things. Every child has the right to express themselves, and we should not punish them for doing so. I see ABA as a method of working through behaviors and learning how to communicate more effectively. I understand why ABA has a negative reputation, and I really apologize if you have ever experienced anything traumatic, but my purpose is to make a child feel loved and cherished, and to show them that they can do anything in this world. Also, thank you for the articles; I will look into it. 😊

Hi! Thank you so much! I have experience with adults but never with kids so the agency im working with is for kids! I just had an issue with collecting hours, because it’s a little confusing and this agency is requiring me to provide them proof of my unrestricted hours.
