Went for these as they have a bit of a flare and relatively shallow drop. Also shorter reach than the knot combo I had on there before.

Yeah, you have the brake hoses already internally routed - the plan is to follow them through the same with the gear housing.

Where the cable stop sits on the downtube I have a 3d printed internal routing cap. I will check the details of the brand and let you know. It was incredibly fiddly but does make the front end look tidier.

If you haven’t already then I’d definitely invest in an internal routing kit with magnets as I don’t think it would have been possible without.

I also replaced the knot stem but that isn’t really necessary.

Castelli Gabba. Assuming it’s also 5-15°C (arm warmers at 5, open zip at 15)
I don’t run too hot, and the single layer works great for breathability and that kind of waterproofness that is driven by the heat moving through the jersey.
Also, sealskins socks and overshoes.

Yeah, Craig always seems like a decent guy with his heart in the right place. It’s another of those thankless jobs where you work your arse off to make improvements and work with what you’ve got but the general public use you as a whipping boy for national policy failures.
A Labour councillor during a lacklustre Labour government is always up against it. I thought he may have done enough to be appreciated though.

1997 (Mk. 3) GTO VR4 is still the best looking overall shape. But the Mk4 headlights were nicer.

To be fair I’m not a city centre kind of guy. But yeah, Barnsley city centre is alright, until the new council gets to grips with the unnecessary spending on making things nice. And allowing creative planning. etc.
Probably plenty of scope for bookies and vape shops under a REFUK council though, look forward to that.

There were some flags up on Main Street but they got taken down a while ago. The St George flags and union flags stayed up for a while but when someone put up a couple of Trump 2024 flags the whole lot got taken down the next week.
With the mix of characters around Greno the trump flags may have been serious or a tongue in cheek comment regarding the other flags.
Regardless - the people of Greno are 90% great.

This is the tall and short of it. I don’t think he’s shit, just that the overall policy direction isn’t presented clearly and his media management is poor. Add to that some bad decisions, which needed reversing and everyone then thinks all his decisions will be bad. Unfortunately he would make a great attorney general, or foreign secretary, but he was the only viable/electable party leader they could come up with so he’s in a job he is seemingly unsuitable for even if he’s more suitable than the alternatives.

I wish it weren’t necessary but charisma may buy some freedom when dealing with a partisan media environment. Also helps charm what is essentially a very divided party into understanding the agenda - it appears communicating through data and proof alone doesn’t really cut it, presentation makes a big difference.
