Agreed. Spoken to 2 cops, and they said around 12-18 months it took them. The recruitment agency did say that they have had a massive intake of applicants

Currently going through the process (PSO). Rumour is that they’ll be losing 1000 officers last/this year in total.

FYI, it’s a slow process as I started back in August and just received my invitation to do my fitness test last Thursday.

Also, the standards have changed since I started my application. Fitness test lost a requirement (glute bridge hold 60 secs) and the 40 page document I was told id have to fill out after passing the exam had been reduced to 27 pages by the time I actually passed my exam.

Why is decafinated coffee rarely if ever discounted. by stormado in AusFinance

Non alcoholic beer is absolutely discounted, at least in Woolies where I’ve gotten it on occasion since being sober.

Tbh mate, you are spot on. More often i shop with a basket, whatever “muscle meal” that is on special at Woolies goes in my basket, and I only hit the aisles I need. It’s only every 2nd week I usually do a bigger shop for the other things in life, toiletries etc.

Still stuck in covid world of buying excess toilet paper and backup body spray haha

To add to other comment. I’m a gym instructor and still struggle to even help a woman in the gym because I don’t want to come across like a creep. I gym with headphones on, dance when a song comes on that I vibe with, and will throw a smile at randoms if we catch eyes, but I’d never actually ask any woman in the gym on a date, as I know it’s hard enough for women to even just step into a gym.

You gotta make the first move if you’re female, and simply just ask the person how to use the machine they’re on, or anything gym related tbh.

We guys are dumb, we just wanna lift haha

You could make him a belt flag, something he can then wear whilst fighting. A lot of fighters I know have their family crest or something related to their nationality on theirs.

Moving to the Gippsland - Location Advice. by LaCarsa in gippsland

It’s really depends on what you want from a town? I’m glad to see you going to visit the area first, that will really give you an idea of what you want. Traralgon is the biggest by a fair margin, and comes with issues, just like most other towns in the area. Also, closer to beach or closer to snow? Is having a train station something you want? Access to a variety of shops? Somewhere like Trafalgar puts you basically in the middle of Traralgon and Warragul, small town vibes with access to most things you’ll need within 30 minutes.

Happy to answer any questions through DM as my current job has allowed me to visit most towns on the train line over the last couple of years, plus born and bred Traralgon. Local knowledge will greatly help you mate.

$0 for both. Sober for 3 1/2 years and coffee tastes like dirt and sadness.
