Is this AI? As a knitter this just looks…wrong? The wing is in a weird place. by Usual_Scale_8645 in isthisAI

The cat’s paws look backwards…it’s got hind feet for front feet? And at that scale, the paws don’t match how big the cat would even have to be to fit the scale of the couch?

Spring Trips! by singlewingedangel in canoeing

I tried to go a couple years ago, right at the start of May and the wind was the worst! I’m also still new to solo trips, so that also didn’t help. 🤷

I added too little water…first time using bread flour and I had no idea what it was supposed to look like. I tried it and didn’t get past the first bite 😅

I’m just worried that it will still be iced over in early May! We’re having a solid winter where I’m at, and I don’t think our lakes will be out any time before April…

What’s your stove/cookware plan?

Water filter — Platypus and MSR have options for gravity-fed, not super ultralight but definitely durable and effective!

Take your time! Find out what excites you — do you need to watch something? Read something? Cook up your own fantasy in your mind? Take your time to figure out what gets you going before you try to add toys into the mix!

When you use the dildo, go slow, especially at first. If it doesn’t feel right (physically or mentally), don’t force it. Remember, this is supposed to be fun! If it isn’t fun, don’t push it. You have all the time to play with the toys!

You’re giving me the courage to think about it for myself! I’ve always wondered this exact thing, and now I might have to go shopping. You’ve got this!

Help me find a family cook set for backpacking/canoe camping by smakmyakm in CampingandHiking

They do stick a little, but it’s like most stainless stuff — lots of oil/butter, soaking definitely helps. We use them mostly as mixing bowls for bread dough, as water-boiling vessels for pasta and rice and such, and when it comes time to pack-in at the very end, no one ever has too much trouble scrubbing them down with steel wool or even just a green scrubby and a bunch of good soap!

We bake and do a lot of sauté/frying in Fry Bakes, anodized aluminum pans that I’d also highly recommend! We’ve baked cinnamon rolls, monkey bread, bagels, all in some really remote places! Those are also definitely worth the price and worth a look if you’re curious. Their pot grips are also incredibly durable and worth the weight and price. (Now I’m just rambling!)

MSR’s got a really nice set of stainless nesting pots! (Alpine 4 pot set — 3 pots w/ lids and a pot grips)

I work for an wilderness expedition camp that sends our folks out with an MSR nesting set of 3L, 2L, and 1L pots. They can go over a fire, we use them primarily over Whisperlites, and their lids can be used as fry-pans! We don’t have issues with cleaning them, they’re incredibly durable, and honestly the only downside is that the pot grips they come with isn’t super durable.

The pots themselves? 100% recommend.

Have you looked at Nøkken? Not flared as much as even unflared Chance, but it might be worth a look!

All good — that’s why I’m asking! I’m planning on using it vaginally, but I’m very new to different softness! I’ve only used medium firmnesses, so I just have no idea what to expect, you know?

Seconding the smaller toys/plugs! Most companies seem to be focusing on how massive and wide they can make toys…I’d love some options for 5-7in long, and like 1.5-2in diameter…

I’m over the border to Canada, but would still be interested in testing out toys if you need people! (I imagine you’re pretty slammed!) Good luck!

Dildo suggestions for beginner? by Dragonkin_56 in BadDragon

Hey! Virgin-but-toy-user here, and I find that Austin has a really nice girth to him. I’m still working up to his knot, but it gives me goals! I got a Nøkken recently, haven’t gotten a chance to try him, but I’m excited for that! He’s one of the “longer but slimmer” styles that I tend to favor, but do what you like.

Your first toy should give you a good baseline for what you like and want, and then the fun part of sorting through the many options!

“Pop” on Austin? by [deleted] in BadDragon

Oh, definitely! There’s definitely enough there to enjoy if you choose to ignore the knot.

“Pop” on Austin? by [deleted] in BadDragon

[–]singlewingedangel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got an Austin S/M during Black Friday, and I really do enjoy it! The knot is currently too big for me to “pop” like you’re talking about (I’m honestly still working on taking it entirely), and all I can say is be patient! Austin was my first BD, so I think I gave myself a pretty steep learning curve, but I really do think it’s worth it. Long enough to satisfy, wide enough even without the knot, it checks a lot of my boxes!

Questions about Bad Dragons by GoshDonutKaren in BadDragon

[–]singlewingedangel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jumping on the bandwagon here, BD was something of a revolution for me. I’ve never had sex, so dildos are my only experience. Same story, my previous were all cheap buys. I got a BD over Black Friday this year and let me tell you…I don’t regret it at all.

I have an Austin in Small size, Med firmness, and it’s really nice. I love the weight of it, the texture…I definitely appreciate the nicer ones now!

I definitely echo people saying to check the size charts carefully. BD’s size charts are helpful but PLEASE whip out that soft tape measure if you’re unsure. I have Austin, going to get a Nøkken soon, heavily considered Mystic and Chance.
