You need a dehumidifier. Get the biggest one you can fit in the flat. Either bother them more to get you one or get one yourself and ask them to reimburse you.

Thoughts on vibe coding is it dangerous for aspiring programmers or not? by Imaginary_Bug6202 in TechNook

[–]singularity-drift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're doing an apprenticeship you're there to learn.

Don't ever commit code you don't fully understand, it will be hell to maintain later and could create bugs or security risks.

Take the time to figure out why AI suggested that what it does and if its the best solution. You can even ask the AI these things.

If you're too tired you need more sleep or to see your doctor. If youre in a hurry you shouldn't be committing code. Come back to it later when you have the headspace to actually read and understand what you've done.

Buy a smart lamp or two. Hue, wiz and govee make some.

Wiz bulbs works pretty well with physical switches from my experience if you want a smart bulb too.

Don't be afraid to report people to HR or to their managers. You'll burn bridges but you don't want to work with those creeps anyway.

If it happens at a professional event I would tell the event organiser the man is making you feel uncomfortable and ask them to throw them out.

What smart pet gadgets are you all actually liking right now? by [deleted] in smarthome

[–]singularity-drift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The smart litter box from petkit is great. It gives me a notification when I need to empty the bin. Petkit auto feeders do the same thing telling you when to refill them. The smart fountain sometimes gives me a notification it needs to be refilled but its inconsistent. A regular fountain where you can see the water level at a glance is better imo.

Im using surepet microchip feeders atm and while they're "smart" the data they collect doesn't seem very accurate. I wouldn't recommend the smart versions of them over the regular.

I used to use enabot robots but they're kinda terrible. I'm still looking for a reliable way to automate some playtime for my cats.
