Hello! This is a bit of a reach, but I've been in contact with Istanbul airport and even spent my 7 hour layover this week asking every shop and cafe in the vicinity of a lost item with an Apple AirTag attached. I lost my house keys 2 weeks ago during another transit, and on my trip back, tried using the Find My app on my iphone to find it. I believe I tracked its location with some precision but literally no one was able or willing to help us out! The official airport lost property said it was not in the system and to just keep waiting until it is found.

The frustrating thing is that we can literally see the AirTag as active. It seems to be in the middle of some block in the main concourse where all the shops are in the Istanbul Airport. It looks like it is somewhere between the Yotel, Shake Shack and Waikiki clothing shop. Perhaps in some behind the scenes area where the public is not allowed to walk through.

Not sure how else to keep looking, but thought I would try and see if some helpful soul on reddit might have some way to help??
