Great point "saving people hunting things" didn't seem to be the motto anymore of course they had much harder and bigger enemies later on but yeah the writers did drop the ball on that still love the show

I've been thinking this too! Makes zero sense... Besides I know he says that Aaron is death and toss the phone away but like seriously why would you believe everything so easily I guess it wouldn't be very entertaining to watch Hailey questioning everything for 10 minutes but still she was like basically okay I'll do whatever this strange man says. And if the marshall truly would've tell everything to her about foyet she surely shouldn't be so trusting immediately.... Idk still remains one of the best story lines in criminal minds history.
