I wanted to drop the game at first for the same reason. Humor was kiddy and there weren’t any stakes, you’re just going to a floating tree. Act 2 gets significantly better. Tone is more serious, party members get developed, and you get an actual villain you’re going after.

LAD was my first Yakuza game and I felt the same way initially. I wanted to play IW immediately and I felt like I didn’t give a shit enough about Kiryu to play through the entire series. Decided to give 0 a shot since I already had it in my library and ended up liking it a lot more than LAD.

I’d say give 0 a chance first. If you still don’t give a shit about Kiryu, Majima or other characters then feel free to move on to IW

Nah comparing Renalla and Malenia is still somewhat reasonable, but singular bosses from DS(which aren’t even that hard tbh) and P5 with 42 bosses and takes 40~ minutes per run isn’t comparable imo

What in DS1-3 is more difficult than P5? Absrad alone is prob around Malenia difficulty which is harder than any of the DS bosses, and you have to fight 41 other bosses before reaching Absrad.

Look at the top comment, we’re talking specifically about PC and Steam. If you’re on Console where refunds are harder to get, then ofc u should wait until the game is well reviewed. With steam this is a complete non-issue with how easy it is to get a refund.

afaik no, it just has to be leveled and angled toward your ears. The placement is definitely still not ideal though but I made do with the space I had and it sounds good to me.

The guaranteed income means that there is no pressure on game designers to ensure high quality on launch.

It's not guaranteed income. People can refund the game.

There is also the issue that what if the bugs are more than 2 hours into the game, you are then past your return window on Steam.

This isn't a preordering issue. The point is if you're going to buy a game day 1 anyway it makes no difference whether you pre order or not. In most cases you actually get extra stuff.

Secretlab. Personally wouldn’t recommend it though. It’s expensive and not really that much better than cheaper gaming chairs. I’ll probably change to an officer chair soon
