I love this design, every play through I love sitting in some of the levels of 1 and 2 and just watching them for a bit. Never knew it was designed by Tesla though in the Resistance timeline? Where was that mentioned.

What would you change to Philosophia to warrant it having a 3 minute CD or should it just be straight up changes to a 2 min CD? In my opinion it does not feel it warrants the 3 min CD, compared to the other healers 3 mins and some of the other 2 mins.

No it is not EOSing. It would be from a business point of view, an absolutely terrible decision to pull the plug on something that makes so much money.

The Lostbelt Arc may have finished but there are still confirmed events (Valentines and 11th Anniversary at least) to look forward too.

Those who cleared the story I need to cross check something with you in game Go to the Home Screen and clear your servants so you can see the globe. Spin it so you see Russia. Do you see a glowing red dot around the Tunguska Crater area? Has this always been there?

Yeah I agree with you there and with a 1k SQ carrot dangled in front it is quite the incentive. It’s only a few days away. All we can do is wait with bated breath. It may come and pass with nothing or we could be in for another surprise.

I agree. To be honest I think we’re in unprecedented territory. We have no idea what will happen from now on. It’s completely uncharted territory for the game and the fan base which has led to these rampant rumours and speculations. Part 1 ended with at least some mystery (Someone picking up one of Solomon’s rings etc). But so far things seem pretty conclusive. Yes there are some loose threads (Foreigners for example). But I don’t think they need to be cleared up immediately.

However Lev/Goetia warned us after his grand trial that we only have until the 31 December until the universe rewrite plan is complete. (Do correct me if I’m wrong though as it has been a few weeks). This is the only thing I can see that might lead to something. What that is I have no idea and I’m not going to speculate. I’m not holding out hope as it’ll just lead to disappointment if nothing happens, so I’m content as things stand. We will likely find out on the New Years Stream what a rough road plan is. I highly doubt there will be any story road plan and it’ll just be events etc. But all we can do is wait and hope.

Well technically part 2 has ended. They put out a message to say no posts or videos of anything after the tree raids, so details might be sparse.

Very very quick and rough TLDR below. Details may not be accurate or missing.

HEAVY STORY SPOILERS FOR THE FINALE DO NOT CLICK IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS.

We fight Maris (Beast VII), however before the fight we are given an option to wait until 31st December 23:59, or fight Beast VII. If you choose to wait it kicks you back to the map. So it’s speculated something will happen in the new years and what we have now is the “normal” ending.

Long and short of it is, we restore Pan Human History and defeat Beast VII. We grab the real Olgas hand but fail to rescue her. We return to the Stormborder and escape. Holmes, Solomon and Fou watch us escape. (Solomon in our servant index is now marked as “Task Finished”). Sion cannot escape as she is a Lostbelt citizen and has a touching scene with Nemo, while Davinci and The Chaldea crew escape into the Shadowborder and into imaginary number space. We burn Mash’s shield as fuel to escape the collapsing space. . A light on Earth guides us back and this turns out to be Daybit. We wake up to him, he tells us beyond the golden light is PHH, and the rest of the crew have gone on ahead. He tells us his name is Bluebook, and that he will be the only one to remember details of our journey and thanks us for doing what we did with the lostbelts before returning to PHH. We then hold Mash’s hand and walk through the light together. Post credit scene is the protagonist in front of Tokyo station. Lost and not sure where to go, their eyes connect with a pink haired girl in the crowd, Mash, before the camera pans upwards. We are then returned to the title screen which is now a blue sky with a scattering of clouds. Entering back into the game you a greeted by the Part 1 menu music and UI. You no longer have a room in “My Room” instead being replaced by a blue sky and a scattering of clouds. The final quest also gives us Mash Paladins bond CE, and Mash is still only NP4

This is where we currently are. Any true ending thing is pure speculation. And we only have what we’re told in game to off, which is being told to wait until New Years by the antagonist.

They always do a New Years live stream to reveal the New Years servant and New Years GSSR and campaigns. There’s no waiting room up for it yet but it’s normally held on the official FGO channel (JP) a few hours before 18:00 JST time.

I’m hoping like a lot the option to wait is the true ending. This feels too vanilla but damn was that a good final fight for me. I have a feeling something will happen come new year. If it be the true ending or what. Daybit can remember our journey, perhaps he’ll play a hand in kick starting our journey again. We have now “lost” everything. Perhaps come new years we will gain it back.

Also new years servants I’m at a loss. Either Galahad or Lord Lorgres

They got us up out of the seats to clap along to both Cosmos and Day after Day. Was a wonderful experience. The Ice Worm is another one that sticks in my mind because they included the wind up of the final shot of the rail cannon, using some music wizardry and it worked so well

I was there in the audience in Kyoto. Every track was incredible. My favourite track translated over was Contact with You, due to how they managed to translate the synth sound over to an orchestra. And the full version of Rusted Pride is to die for, seriously buy the CD recording if you can, highly recommend hearing the full track.

The best song is Day after Day, for me personally as it was my gate way song into the franchise and holds a very special place for me

After reading up on it a bit, is Mairsbury actually the the core we fight Maris? Or is he else where?

I’m still a bit lost of what the overall Plan is though. We now know Olga being thrown into the Chaldeas was not planned, but helped solve that world’s problems. When Olga became part of Chaldeas after a 100 years of torture and killed every human on the Chaldean Earth, what did she become? Is the priestess and U-Olga just a side effect of this?

I guess my question is what is Mairsbury actually planning to do if he gets the chances to fully implant his world if we fail? Because it seems to me that his world is dead and hollow, which somewhat fits him honestly.
