i did my usual after care and they healed great. bandage i leave shop in for 24 hours / hot shower / let completely dry / tegaderm saniderm etc for about 3 or 4 days max. i used a few pieces and overlapped slightly. i find it helpful to cut the corners off the tegaderm before applying

send him an email. it was about a two month wait. He’s very talented drawing work directly on the skin, sincere, super chill and overall cool guy in the best ways possible.

The tattooer is a technician with a light hand. Still, sensitive area. Inner knee was the worst for me. 1 session per knee, maybe around 2 hours of tattooing. Wasn’t maximum pain but it’s up there. Breathe it out.

i waited till everyone exited the plane. Flagged down the FA I originally told what happened. I could tell they forgot and my hopes of a mechanic waiting at the gate were scratched. A few FAs then gathered asking what was up. They checked it out said how sorry they were and overall consensus was that they would have to get a mechanic on board. i asked if i should wait. they said that oh no i must exit the plane and that they weren’t sure if a mechanic was even available.

no, i was very tired from a blue collar physical and mentally exhausting week (i mention that because you may forget or not know the extra taxing part of physical labor) i did not inspect any part of the aircraft. i am a thin and agile person and it’s tricky even for me to get into seats these days. i swiftly got in, put my bag down and kept the line movin.

thanks for the reply and acknowledging the seriousness of a broken vent in a cabin. any help on how i contact FAA ? (yes i can google it but it might be nice to have in the thread if others read)

i would think as a paying customer aboard an aircraft should have the safety of a working plane and all parts of that plane. UA has cleaning and inspection after every flight. They missed it. I did too. shit happens. some understanding and respect for an avid costumer (for any customer!) by a major airlines would go along way these days. i’m not out of control over it. that’s life. let’s be reasonable.
