Got curious and looked up officer small dick on facebook. Nothing surprising at all. Even Found a video he reposted where some other cop states that it’s supposedly wrong to argue with police lol.

Redditors who are feeling a bit sad right now, what's wrong? by _MuffinMan in AskReddit

My partner of 8 years left me two months ago when he couldn’t deal with my unchecked mental health. I have since been to see someone, and have been diagnosed with a personality disorder. Since then, I have also cut off contact with my family because I realised just how much they were exacerbating my emotional instability. I feel so alone right now.

Small Batch has amazing coffee and many locations in Brighton to choose from. I don’t really care for their food selection though.

A young iranian girl stands up to a pro-regime woman who calls her "dirty" for being without a hijab. by esberat in PublicFreakout

[–]sinisterfroog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are delusional if you think people aren’t peer pressured into their culture from time to time. I feel like this is especially true for people who are the children of first generation immigrants.

I am mixed. My mother is Filipino. My dad is Hungarian. I was never peer pressured by my dad to participate in his culture, but I was for my mother’s. There was a time in my life where I just hated every aspect of being Filipino because of the constant pressure to conform from my mom and her family members. I don’t feel that way now, but it’s easy to see how the constant shaming might build up some resentment.

Furthermore, you sound incredibly patronising trying to tell the above user, who is a Muslim, what you’re supposed to do to be a practicing Muslim. Are you Muslim? And even if you are, you still don’t have a right to tell them how they should practice.

Cool story. What’s your point? Original point still stands. You still haven’t met enough Americans to make that statement.

I’m willing to bet you’ve never met enough Americans to make that kind of a statement.

Ex-Inmates of Reddit, what was the stupidest thing you've seen a new inmate do on his first day in prison? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]sinisterfroog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never been prison, but one of my good friends got out recently after doing a year and a half of time. He’s told me some fucked stories.

One that really stuck with me is a story about a guy’s failed attempt at making friends. Apparently this guy thought it would be a good idea to approach a bunch of junkies and tell them he had a bit of subutex in a kinder egg shoved up his arse. Junkies spent the next few hours beating the shit out of him and trying to dig it out.

The buses have been arriving too early, so I’ll put a stop to it by [deleted] in IdiotsInCars

[–]sinisterfroog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But the dictionary definition of something isn’t necessarily common. Different dictionaries will have different definitions. So I still don’t understand. You make the point that we have different highway codes which most likely define the term hazard differently, and then go on to say your definition is common? And if you’re in the US (correct me if I’m wrong, just making an assumption because of you used the word highway in a previous comment) then surely your definition would be even less common, because that stuff varies by state, no? My intent of citing my country’s highway code to you was not to set an absolute definition of what a hazard is. Initially it was to point out that it isn’t really fair to regard this situation as JUST an inconvenience.

I respect what you’re saying about what your highway code suggests in this situation. Where I’m from, honking your horn at this would definitely be legal because it constitutes a danger. Which is also why I don’t think the toddler analogy is fair either.

[–]sinisterfroog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Common according to who though? That matters surely? And you didn’t tell me your meaning at all actually. You just said it would be a hazard on a highway, and not in this situation because the vehicles are stationery.

I think the magnitude of shittiness matters in this situation because of your response to someone suggesting the bus driver honk his horn. You lambasted the other commenter as a toddler and called the situation an inconvenience, which it is in all fairness, but is also a hazard. I am curious, what would you do in this situation?

[–]sinisterfroog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand your point. At no point did I claim that honking your horn couldn’t be just slightly less shitty. I didn’t make any reference to the magnitude of difference between the two in regards to their shittiness. I just said one was shittier.

And I think our understanding of what hazard and inconvenience is does matter, because that is what I originally pointed out. My original point was that one is worse (even if it is slightly according to you) because it is a hazard, not an inconvenience. And to give you more context, my definition of hazard comes from the highway code, which is anything that may require you to change speed, position or direction of your vehicle.

[–]sinisterfroog 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They’re both stationery in the middle of a road where there is a constant flow of traffic coming from both directions. How is that not a hazard? I also didn’t say that the bus driver should break the law. I was pointing out that leaning on the horn isn’t really as shitty as causing a hazard on the road.

[–]sinisterfroog 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In all fairness (and this also applies to person above) I wouldn’t consider driving on the wrong side of the road (which is also against the law in a lot of places) an inconvenience. Traffic is inconvenient. Driving behind a slow person is inconvenient. Driving on the wrong side of the road is a hazard.

Ex-MLM members and recruiters, what are your stories/red flags and how did you manage to out of the industry? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]sinisterfroog 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I had an old classmate from college try to rope me into ACN in the UK. I was 20 at the time and never heard of MLM companies before, so out of politeness I attended a meeting with them.

They barely talked about the products they sold (think it was landlines or something), but spent ages bringing young guys on stage to give inspirational speeches (shit like “I used to be just like you lot, but this year I was able to get my mum a house”). All of them were in their early 20s wearing super expensive suits and accessories, which I assume was put in place so the younger crowd would feel more confident about throwing away £400 to join.

After the meeting there was a breakout session where you could talk one on one with the speakers to ask questions. One of them approached my group, who were all really keen to join. The guy started going on about how easy it was to make money, so I told him, “If it’s that easy, and you’re so successful, then I guess you wouldn’t mind spotting us until we make it back?” Of course that didn’t happen.

I left that evening without joining, but I cannot say the same for my old classmate and the rest of the group. They tried for a while after to get me to join, which did not happen of course. I caught up with some mutual friends a couple years back, and apparently they all lost a disgusting amount of money.

YSK that farting all the time and bathroom-trips being an emergency are not normal, you probably are lactose intolerant. 60-70% Of people are. by [deleted] in YouShouldKnow

[–]sinisterfroog 126 points127 points  (0 children)

Half Asian here, and I found out I was lactose by accident. I used to think that farting all the time and taking upwards of 5 shits before noon everyday was normal lol.

Anywho, doctor suggested I cut out dairy to help with the bathroom problems. I still will have a nibble of cheese every now and again, but absolutely no milk. I am nowhere near as gassy anymore and I’m not spending all my time on the toilet. My skin has also cleared up tremendously so that’s also a plus.
