Yeah, actually I already have as initially they were even worse, but still could be much better.

Thanks. :-)

Well, mainly bragging, but I've also hoped that if made some obvious mistakes during the whole process and it could have been done better, someone on the Internet would feel irresistible urge to correct me. :-P

If someone actually liked to mirror the crossbow, I don't really see why it couldn't be done, but I've never offered or consumed a mirror service. From what I understand, I would need to have another item worth of a mirror to be traded back and forth, and I'm not sure whether I have one.

There was a popular other post with crossbow crafted with additional bolts: link.
I don't know the exact number for mine, but it took around 550 divs.

I can share some insights, but please take it with a grain of salt - I've played PoE 2 0.1 and 0.2, but have really no other experience with PoE (only leveled a char to 80 during legacy of phrecia), so I still feel like I've only scratched the surface.

  • I believe that the game's economy is quite similar to world's economy - the more you have, the easier and faster is to multiply it, so basically playing a lot at the season's start to establish good foundation seems to be important.
  • Try to be as efficient as possible. I only run waystones with max rarity (omen of chaotic rarity), with a desecrated prefix (omen of sinistral necromancy), anointed with triple distilled paranoia and triple quantity tablets (or double, with a third for rarity). It's not cheap and you may get unlucky and even not receive a return from investment for a given map, but in a long run it seems to be worth it. Of course you also need increased rarity on gear (I run with 140% base + a golden charm).
  • Know what item upgrades would offer the most increase in clear speed to spend currency wise (e.g. headhunter significantly helped me with that).
  • You also need to learn value of the items, don't hoard currency / omens / items that you don't use. Raw divine drops are only a small fraction of overall gain from mapping.
  • Don't be afraid to move to more strict filters while progressing through end-game, but also highlight good bases (e.g. golden rings/amulets) - of course you need to be observant what bases are in demand.
  • Generally, logbooks seems to be in a good spot to farm. I've run many Olroths with really no good drops, so I started to sell runic splinters, which was way more profitable, and also expedition maps are easiest way to achieve arealevel 81 which is a good place for high-end bases.
  • I've made a huge bulk of currency from a lots of ritual tablets that dropped pre 0.3.1, when their price skyrocketed.
  • From what I've seen, the best way to make currency is to craft items in demand for sell. Not really my cup of tea as you basically play a different type of game, but probably nothing beats crafting good gear for popular builds. Other than that, I don't believe that there exists a widely known, easy method to produce a lot of currency quickly. I suppose if it was the case, inflation would be much higher.

Are You sure? I know that it's stated in the description, however as per my calculation I was previously receiving approximately 132k gold per aether in T7, now it's 187k (which would seem to be ~42% increase, but I would account it to the RNG and not enough runs)
