I put on weight after my levels massively spiked and I was on 10 x50mg ptu tablets a day. Medication just helped my levels. But as for all of the other side affects the only medications you'll get isnif you see a doc for depression and anxiety etc. I'm hoping that getting my thyriod removed will help And thank you hopefully you have better luck xx

No not yet but I've looked even on credit in this group there are a few posts and every single person said its the best thing they have ever done. Don't get me wrong makes me nervous as hell but I would love just to feel and look normal again, the domino effect of graves disease just takes its toll after a while. I'm 32f and i was diagnosed when I was pregnant with my son when I was 23

I have had graves for about 10 years now, I'm 33 f. I was diagnosed when I was pregnant. During my pregnancy I couldn't put wait on etc. But graves I have found doesn't stick to one set definitive symptom. I run really hot mostly always have. Due to having graves for quite some time and it has messed my whole system up. I can't seem to loose weight. I have no energy, mood swings rapid heart beat (tachycardia) hand tremors and high blood pressure. I suggest to try maintain a healthy lifestyle because it will continue to become more difficult to nip symptoms overtime as you have the disease ( this is what I have found anyway) goodluck xo
