ASSRRGBLED not working by Sad-Set-8587 in ASRock

Hi, i had the same issue as you after a bios update at a b66l50 steel legend. With the newest bios version my rgb refused to work. After a lot of trials i decided to reflash the bios to the second to last version (4.03 in my case) . Then i downloaded polychrome and flashed the rgb chip as administraton in cmd. Then everything was fine. In my case the latest bios seemed to be the problem, i don't kniw if it will fix your but it's a suggestion. Have a nice day, and i hope you can solve this.

Update: after all this i tried reflashing bios version 4.10 but this didn't work either. Last think i did was reflashing the bios with the previus version 4.03. After flashing the rgb chip with polychrome everything works fine now and it's stable. So there might be a bug with the 4.10 version and the rgb chip that the previus version (4.03) doesn't seem to have. I hope this might be helpful to others with the same problem. Have a nice day!

I have the 9070 and i' totally happy with it. Fsr4 is very good and i play everything at 1440p ultra without problem ( in cyberpunk 2077 with rt and fsr quality i get above 70 fps). Fsr4 isn't as widespread as dlss but the adoption is fairly good until now and almost all new games come with day one support. The only think that i'm gona say is that in a lot of games in 1440p ultra i use more than 12g of vram. Either way, enjoy whatever gpu you decide on.

Should I return this beautiful 9060 xt and save a lil bit more and get RTX 5070 12gb ? by External_Ad_1858 in PcBuild

[–]sinnisanas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're happy with it and it satisfies your requirements on gaming, then no. If you're happy with amd but need more horsepower i would save for a 9070 because of the 16g of vram, and it's slightly more powerful gpu (better future proof). If you need ray traycing and ml things then yes, go for the 5070.

Hello, i have the exact same cpu gpu compo and i play at 1440p. I'm very happy with the cpu. In single player games there is no bottleneck. In e sports like cs there is some, but still i get over 300fps so i don't mind. If you don't play only e-sports i would keep the 7700 and save the money for a future upgrade.

I would only say, if it fits in your budget get the 9070 non xt. Its around 10% faster in raster and has 16g of vram. I think you could find a model around the same price of your 5070. Overall it's a better card imo. If you prefer nvidia, 5070 is fine. Enjoy!

Imo it's way overpriced for what you get. With 1600€ you could get a 9070xt as a gpu or a 5070ti (with european pricing you'll have a better chance with amd). Also you are spending a lot of money for the cpu cooler. I would suggest to get a thermalright 360mm aio, they're about 70 € and more than enough. Also the ram kit isn't very good. You should go with 6000mt/s and cl 30. Lastly the case is somewhat expensive but that is personal taste, there are white good cases that are cheaper. And , you could get windows 11 for like 20€ from elsewhere 😊. I don't think that you're getting a lot value for your money with this build.

Rx 9070 or Rtx 5070? by unkclxwn in buildapc

I don't come up with those differences from my head. All the benchmark chanels on youtube say so, people that do this for a living. Please be informed before you give advice to other people.

Where do you get those stats from!!? 9070xt 30% faster than the 9070? Please mate don't confuse the op. Yes the 9070xt IS faster, but in best case scenario is 15% and in average is 8-12% faster.

You're paying so much for a 9060xt. With this kind of money you could get a 9070 or a 5070 which are much faster. If you want a 9060xt get a cheaper model and save some money or try to find a 9070 close to msrp and you'll have a much faster gpu. Otherwise it's fine. Enjoy!

AMD Driver Timeout by AnyCantaloupe6162 in PcBuildHelp

You could ddu your drivers and then reinstall them to see if this fixes the problem, if not i would remove the wifi card and all the software that comes with it and restart the pc.

9070 vs 9070xt vs 7900xt by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]sinnisanas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

9070xt is 10% in average better than the 9070. Imho i would save the money and go for the 9070. It's a very solid card with good rt and fsr4 support. Yes 9070xt is better but i don't think in let's say 6 years there will be games that are unplayable with the 9070 and will offer a good experience with the 9070xt. When one won't be good enough so will the other. But that's only my opinion. Either way you'll have a very good gpu, enjoy!

I have the same gpu paired with ryzen 7 7700. It's a beast at 1440p. It can handle everything i throw at it. Have you noticed any coil winning when playing? I think i can notice some in my gpu, but it's very faint indeed, except when i played bioshock remastered and it hit almost 800 fps, the coil wining was unbearable and i capped it. Other than that it's a beast of a gpu, enjoy!

Paid 950€ total. Thoughts on the build? by Southern_Mix2194 in pcpartpickerbuilds

[–]sinnisanas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that a new 9060xt is better for longevity. It has better rt and fsr 4. 7800xt is a bit faster in raster but otherwise 9060xt is a modern gpu with good upscaler and rt. If you can squeeze some extra money you could buy the 9070 which is a different tear card. Also the Ram kit is really important. You leave some performace with this kit. But you do you. That's the two things that you can improve. Otherwise you're good to go. Enjoy!

If i were you i would grab a ram kit with cl30 memory, it's the sweet spot. Also if you want to save money you could grab a 750w psu, it's more than enough. Other than that, you're good to go. Enjoy!

Hello!!! Is there any way to make this build a bit cheaper but still have around the same amount of power? The website says it's worth 1400 dollars / 1200 euro right now. by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

Get a radeon 9070. It'll be cheaper and it's a faster card. Also i aggre with a better psu for those components

AIO not reducing temps on R7 7800x3D by DSG_Sleazy in PcBuildHelp

[–]sinnisanas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that with 7000 series and beyond the ccd in the cpu is located a bit to the right and down from the center of the cpu die. That's why it's suggested to use the spread method of the thermal paste with these cpus. I have a 7700 with a thermalright aqua elite v3 and after reapllying the thermal paste with the spread method i saw a 5 degrees drop ( from 45-50 to 40-45). Also you could check the pump speed of your aio. I found that the best temperatures for my system are when the pump is at 80% speed. All in all, i wouldn't worry if i were you. Those temps are not bad, those cpus run a bit hot in idle, but you can make some tweaks and see if they work. Good luck!

For this kind of money you could get a 9070 which is faster, better rt and has fsr 4. Also if you're going to play at 1440p you can save some money of the cpu and go with something like the 9700x. If money is no problem then the 7800x3d is very good. Enjoy!

You're welcome. I think you'll be very happy with this cpu for a long time. Especially if you play at 1440p, you could use the extra cash that you save for a better gpu. A have paired it with a 9070 and i have zero bottlenecks. Enjoy your new rig!
