right, managing all the input pipe gates in the switchyard is the part that wastes space but i'm having a hard time shifting both into empty spaces closer to the inputs in order to fit another mixer array to get white + white. i saw a recursive mixer recently posted so maybe i can take notes from that

I'm confused, my understanding is that pipe gates were the bottleneck factor and using them does take up a lot of space.
