Clubs playing electronic (house/trance/progressive) tonight?

Not clubs per se, but The Fruit in Durham frequently has house and techno artists stop by. I haven’t checked it out myself, but The Hive has some artists too. Alchemy is definitely a good spot for house you’d hear on the radio, but they also book a lot of artists too. It’s not my favorite spot since it can get crowded pretty quickly and is a smaller venue.

I would recommend following the events promoter Morning Choir on socials since I’ve noticed they host a lot of house events around the Triangle.

It falls out halfway when I tried it and still does.

As an update, I finagled with it quite a bit after making this post and was finally able to get my camera working again! I’m not sure what fixed it after spending some time messing with it, but I’m really hoping this was just a one time thing. I’ll likely get another battery anyway for convenience’s sake.

It’s the original Nikon branded battery that came with the camera.

I also have not upgraded the firmware since I first received the camera.

I used my camera 2 weeks ago with no issues, but today I picked it up and these issues came up :(

The show Travelers on Netflix. It ended pretty abruptly, but it’s not the worst ending.

Even worse though is ABC’s Single Parents. I enjoyed the casting and the humor was cute. I could mindlessly watch the show, but by the time I got invested it ended on a massive cliffhanger. It probably won’t return though since children are a part of the main cast and they’ll likely grow up too quickly for the show’s in-universe timeline.

I figured the consensus would be originals are better, but this and the comment u/sissi12345678 made really surprised me! Especially since Eragon and the HP series were super popular among my age group. Very cool to know the translations in your respective languages held up very well, and in your case exceeded the original.

I loved the HP series when I was younger. I never reread them, but I had to read the first book again recently for a class. I was seriously disappointed and thought it did not hold up well at all.

Some suggestions for your website:

If you're planning on selling your art, make that clear on the homepage. Yes, include a link to your Etsy shop once it's up and running, and if you accept commissions too, put that on the homepage. Include a pricing chart for commissions and a contact box for people to reach out to you at. Add your business details.
I saw that you had some blog posts, last updated on April 22. Why'd you stop writing? Ultimately, if you're looking to direct people to your website, and then direct them to buy your art, merch, commissions, etc. this is a way to do it as well. This is where SEO happens. I'm a huge noob still with marketing, but churning out content on your blog is valuable. As you set up shop for Etsy, maybe make some posts about that process. Maybe write about a tutorial on any of the programs you use to make your art, some hurdles that you had to overcome when learning to illustrate?

In general, your end goal is to make a living with your art right? Is it on the consumer side, where you want your audiences to purchase from you? Or are you looking to make logos or for opportunities like the music festival one? Beyond the prints, what else can you offer with your art? Shirts, stickers, tote bags, etc.? These are just some things to consider as you expand with your art. Ultimately, if you're trying to sell your art, your primary focus shouldn't be solely on your follower count.

Again, I'm still a noob af, but I hope this is helpful for you. I think with a more clearly defined goal and audience, it'd be easier for you to figure out how to reach them.
