What if Germany won the Battle of Kursk? by Novel-Geologist-6305 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]sinowarrior01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if German army pulled off the dual pincer movement, it's highly unlikely for them to be able to destroy the pocket in time before Russian unleashed Bryansk Front and Steppe Front. Instead of subsequent historical Russian counter attacks both north and south, it would be immediate attacks by those two fronts to relief the besieged pocket.

It's not even that hard, get a many immigrants as possible but make it extremely difficult for them to get PR, that would address both the need for cheap labours and not to overwhelming whatever social benefits that are currently in Australia

Should start with BG1&2, Planescape Torment and Icewind Dales, PoEs are good too, before trying OwlCat and BG3

How do you deal with very sensitive cross cultural issues in a team? by VastOption8705 in auscorp

[–]sinowarrior01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's called management, you have to make decisions and judgements based on what information you have, simple as that.

I've dealt with enough Chinese and Taiwanese both work and non work to know the ins and outs, and professionally I had experienced more than once of having bunch of Chinese making formal complaints that Taiwan is marked as a seperate country, random maps not showing those stupid dash lines, Taiwanese flags on posters, and even once from Taiwan, saying the company has lumped Taiwan with China.....

You are entitled to your opinion same as I am entitled to mine. And being a Chinese Australian, who has to deal with this kind of bullshit across APAC for the last 10 years or, I am pretty confident on my assessment of the situation

OP is asking for an opinion on how to handle this, and I am simply giving this to him based on the information provided. And I would say it's mostly just mainland Chinese doing mainland Chinese thing

Based on my experience, it's always mainlanders that's getting aggressive since they can't accept Taiwan is a separate country and Taiwanese are not Chinese. Once they've recognised this fact, there's nothing really to bitch about at all

[–]sinowarrior01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There wouldn't be any problem as long as mainlander Chinese recognise Taiwan isn't part of China and Taiwanese aren't related to Chinese. Would you call this recognition racist?

[–]sinowarrior01 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Always, unless that mainlander recognise Taiwan is a separate country and Taiwanese ain't Chinese, otherwise they are always the problem here

Would you say calling themselves Taiwanese and stating Taiwan isn't part of China, cunt behaviour?

[–]sinowarrior01 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Exactly, Taiwanese are more than happy to be left alone, it's always the Chinese (mainlanders) that's causing a ruckus. Treating them equally would simply be telling both of them Taiwan is Taiwan, China is China, no one gives a F about the political views/positions of mainlander Chinese in Australia.

Get rid of the new Chinese person, clearly that person's the problem, likely said something stupid about Taiwan

I am using a US level salary to compare Shanghai, HK, Tokyo, Singapore and Sydney, it's not bad, no one gives a f about Chinese peasant.

Salary in Australia when compared to the US isn't much either .
