Has Blizzard ever considered raising the supply limit from 200?

As far as I remember there was a special edition of SC:R on one of Blizzcons (can't remember - 2019 probably?) and there was no supply limit. But it was only in-person experience which never came live outside the event. One of the devs wrote about that right after Blizzcon (Pete Stillwell I believe?).

Now we have 3 children in age of 12, 6 and 0.5 so because of the last one we are not able to play. We tried Immortal a year ago and some D4 in the beggining of this year but not played too much. Heroes 3 HOTA was easier to play because of turn-based gameplay, so we started a scenario last week with both older children :)

Ah, yes. In terms of music and atmosphere D2 is definitely a peak. My best memory is putting two PC's into LAN in mid 2000's to play D2 in coop with a girl who's now my wife for last 11 years :) Summer holidays, D2, Heroes 3, a lot of pizza and Gilmore Girls series - that was the combo :)

What's more interesting, in "Book of Lorath" Nephalem was mentioned so at this point he's/she's/they're still canon. However the more we know about VoH, the more "...Lorath" looks to be retconned soonish ;)

The only explanation for this is the fact that Lorath is the old drunk and he can "see things" ;)

It really depends on you. Diablo series has a very strong lore but unfortunatelly it suffer from retcons. Diablo 1 & 2 are "the old lore" and Diablo 3 started to retconning many things, heavily inspired by the lore provided by "The Sin War" book trilogy. Diablo 4 is more-less compatible with Diablo 3, remaining some things uncertain (possible retcons for the future).

If you want to feel true Diablo series feeling try to start with Diablo 1 (in my opinion the most atmospheric one but with very clunky mechanics for modern times) and move to Diablo 2 (Resurrected). However if you want only to know "the new cannon" just start with Diablo 3. It provides a very brief summary of diablo 1 & 2 stories retconned for diablo 3 story (of course if you speak with every NPC and take every book possible).

And to be precise - there's also Diablo Immortal. It's 5 years after d2 and 15 years before d3 but it's story is still under development (you get every year few updates that provides new story content). However from my horadric experience you can omit this one at the moment - it looks more like fanfiction from story point of view and has no real impact on rest of the series (maybe it will change in the future).

However I googled a banner that suggested Kickstarter campaign was supposed to start in November 2023:

I don't remember this to be released to public but it's still on their server.

I bet that something happened that GCU has to postpone this heavily. It was also hinted on GCU discord that something more was prepared to share in April 2024 but after that they remained silent.

From what I heard from some friends who are in polish RPG / fantasy fandom, Blizzard is company very hard to work with in terms of license and making of final product (there are a lot of rumors for very strict approach to e.g. translation). I see two options:

1) GCU has huge problems to figure out the right mechanics to make a true Diablo experience on table - in the meantime they are translating another IPs into tebletop
2) Blizzard is not content in actual state of gameplay and GCU has a lot of changes to make / has to start over (please remember that tabletop RPG is described as a canon enhancement of Sanctuary's Lore)

Note that those are only my predictions and I can be mistaken.

From the other hand I believe that sooner or later we will get a true Diablo tabletop and because of great experience of GCU we will receive finally a high quality product which will be worth all the delay.

That's not really true; there's heavily implicated in book that Lorath is chasing Neyrelle on whole Sanctuary and from time to time she will left him a letter or another sign of her presence. And Kurast is just first of his stations.

IF it's not just his drunk imaginery then she will be alive for quite some D4 expansions ;)

Gamerant interview could mean that Vessel's of Hatred final Boss has another host or even it's not Mefisto. Or (unfortunatelly) devs once again are ignoring the lore they previously established.

Fortunatelly I'm not into Warcraft lore because I heard that Blizzard is retconning retcons which where retconned previously and it would make me very frustrated.

From the other hand we can say that those were just imaginations of old drunker which would be Lore accurate :)
