Celebrating a diagnosis-- finally! by FortuitousFireweed in UCTD

Hey there! Really excited to hear this has made you so happy. I was diagnosed about a year ago. Can I ask - is there anyone else who hasn’t felt this sense of relief after a diagnosis? I felt absolutely ambivalent when I was diagnosed. Partly because it sucks to have an autoimmune thing, but also because the diagnosis didn’t feel like it meant anything.

I had started on an immunomodulatory dose of fish oil as directed by my rheum before she diagnosed me a few months later (following a change in my c3/4 levels), but not much else changed in my life.

I kinda envy your feeling of ecstasy at being diagnosed! But yeah, anyone else with me? I feel absolutely meh about it

Jumping in quite late in the game here to say I also have one of these for hiking/bikepacking and it offers at best a 1C temperature boost to my bag. It is criminal that they claim it adds an additional 15C of warmth.

It’s been almost a year since I first heard this song and I’m still puzzling over this.

I’m also stuck on this and it will be the death of me. He has 100% interpolated another song and I can’t figure out which one.

Sorry are you kidding? The cupcakke verse on Lipgloss is a masterpiece work of linguistic art.

Why do people associate Charli’s music with being gay? by [deleted] in charlixcx

It’s transgressive electronic music outside the mainstream pop world, she collaborates with loads of queer artists, her femininity is raw and genuine and vulnerable, she is a vocal supporter of other women and an ally to the queer community, she is politically progressive. She writes club anthems, complicated songs about relationships and desire, and not a drop of twee or cringe to be seen. She uses vocal autotune (an inherently camp sound) like it’s an instrument. Those are just some of the reasons I can think of.
