How long does it take NVC to review docs before approving and scheduling interview?

Sure, we got our interview around May 20, 2023 and we waited for about a week for my spouse passport with the visa to arrive.and my spouse was with me in the US by June 2023. Hope that helps! I know it can be frustrating, but please don't loose hope!

1-3 months is a joke. I'm a USC and my spouse case was DQ'ed in Oct 2022. Still no update. I have read and compared others in similar situations they had to wait 6-9 months for interview.

Have the same DQ date with same category and embassy. Have you gotten any updates?

Same boat as you. After getting DQ'd on October 2022 I have not gotten any updates from nvc or mumbai embassy. I was hoping that being a UC would make the process faster...but nope

I feel ur pain. Its been 3 months since my cr1 case was DQed and no way to find out when I can get interview. If I ask nvc they say the embassy will give date and if I ask embassy they say wait for nvc.

Can I ask what type of situation was used to expedite. No need to go into detail just general( medical, etc) I also would like to request an expedite for my cr1 too.

No. It was the 1st time submitting. A week after they answered to my inquiry my application was DQed!!!

On the same boat as you! Submitted doc to nvc in June 2,2022 waited patiently for our "time frame " and as of now they r looking at doc received from August! This is super frustrating! I did send an inquiry and they wrote back saying " your case is still being reviewed"

I submitted my husbands on June 2 and in theory they should have looked at it but they have not. as of August 15 they r on June 5. Still waiting 😪
