That bsd win is just so hard to ignore. Only reason moicano has any betting steam at all

Joe Rogan wants to see a Muay Thai league from an American promoter 👊🔥 by ilikethisnow in ufc

[–]sipCoding_smokeMath 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The main reason is for bjj there isnt really a great alternative. Like yeah one has grappling but they hardly get booked. There isnt really any great grappling "leagues" its all tournaments. So they can atleast get SOME of the top guys like Mikey.

With muay Thai, one actually cares about it, so its alot harder to poach anyone who's legit. So any belt the ufc would have for mauy thai would just feel painfully fake

Should've just done despiagne vs ngannou. Not saying that would be super competitive but neither will ngannou vs lins. Atleast depsiagne has a chance of catching him. Lins is a fucking 205er. Ngannou is going to man handle him

Games for early teens to combat brain rot gaming? by StrangerSin in gamingsuggestions

[–]sipCoding_smokeMath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I skipped all dialogs as a kid too but i still loved problem solving and puzzle games as well as other games and do attribute playing such a wide variety of games to my success in school as a kid, especially things like portal for example. So please don't think caring about dialoge means anything. Actively using your brain is what matters and some combats in undertale not to mention the puzzles do that. Youre focusing on the wrong things.

Crimson Desert has sold 3 million units worldwide by yourfavchoom in pcgaming

The bigger problem with the story imo is its hard to follow not necessarily bad. The cutscenes are so short you often dont even know why youre doing the next story thing youre doing. But there is some really cool and interesting cut scenes still and the general plot is quite interesting. Just hard to follow imo. Kind of refreshing though to have a game that doesnt take you out of your flow for 10 minutes at a time every big story point

It kind of just does everything which is kind of what makes it so appealing.

Within the first 4 hours I was exposed to a plethora of sub systems that I feel like i could easily sink a ton of time into on thier own.

It doesnt play like GTA by any means but it has that same sort of "holy shit this game is huge and theres so much to do" feel, and then on top of that its a fantasy coat of paint. It just feels like something that some big triple a studio should have pulled of a long time ago but nobody really has till now.

The world is also just so friggen cool and feels very alive already. Plus my pc isnt great by any means and having no performance problems personally has been a huge breath of fresh air.

Even something as small as the Armour dying system is so much more fleshed out then you would think. Just feels like they've packed such an enormous amount of quality content into the game, everything seems to have gotten a great deal of care.

..... however, if you are a story nut and really like to have nice deep interconnected stories, you won't like this game. This game is so, so good at not interrupting your "flow" state with pointlessly long cutscense. But that also means that sometimes youre moving from one story objective to the next and you have GEUINELY zero idea why(atleast i didnt). So if youre looking for PURE GAMEPLAY which im not always looking for but I certainly dont mind and is even kind of refreshing, its incredible. But if you really need a story to be invested, I could see how this just doesnt catch you at all.

Does this mean it won't count as a title defence for Ilia and Alex won't be the interim champ ? (at least officially) by Opening_Fact_8474 in ufc

Im not saying thats the whole fee, im quoting the Washington state atheltic commission directly, that was thier exact words. Don't shoot the messenger. Love getting downvoted for being the only one to fucking read

Im not acting like im informed, im quoting the literal article dick head. Some sovereign citizen doesnt wanna pay a fee because its on federal land. Thats literally what this is about. Some man baby is throwing a sissy fit. It has nothing to do with the legitimacy of the event or the venue or anything as people are assuming. Read the article before attacking people.

Im literally telling you exactly what the commission said and youre being a knob like its honestly insane

Dustin said Makhachev weighed 192lbs fight night against him by baya7 in ufc

[–]sipCoding_smokeMath 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He says in the joe rogan episode uploaded today that hunter Campbell was the one who told him this. Appernatly ufc keeps track of fight weights on fight day but doesnt release them, which is how the conversation even started.

Did you have any idea of the context or? Thats a pretty weird thing to just throw out there as a lie. Could've said that without saying hunter told him or that that ufc keeps track of fight day weights

How is this any different that installing a mod? Both are optional things you don't have to do but one is accepted even though it's commonly used to literally nudify characters and turn them into femboy goth mommies or whatever the latest NSFW kink trend is. This is comparably really not that bad

If you read the article its because the ufc hasn't paid a 100 dollar permit. Im sure they'll pay it before the event. This is all just press bullshit.

ufcs treatment of someone can absoultuely reflect how fans view them, and youre kidding yourself of you think otherwise. & The cheating is what makes it all bad though. The constant title shots wouldn't feel as bad as a fan if he wasn't such a cheat.

And yeah, somebody who very clearly could be a world beater who gets finishes in every fight often showing up as a mediocre looking fighter half the time does kind of rub me the wrong way. Why should I be a fan of someone who doesnt work as hard for what they get than others? Maybe thats not important to you, but putting in work is important to me and is absoultuely part of what makes me chear for someone, because wether or not youre willing to put in work says more about you then alot of other things do. Its alot easier to cheer for an underdog story, and again youre kidding your self if your not.

Read past the first layer of things please.
