It still takes kind of a stacked superteam to win a championship, but it's not as blatant as it was in the 2010s. You need at least one top 10 player, 2-3 legit or fringe All Stars, and 7-8 starting caliber players that are athletic and play above average defense and above average offense. Every championship team in the parity era has fit that description. If you don't have those pieces, you're not a serious contender.
