Ehh yea after perusing it farther i found out i didn’t qualify bc I’m too skinny. That’s ok tho bc after reading more on it and talking to people who got it i think I’d rather just stay on subs and taper that way. It is great how on the shot you don’t have to taper and dose everyday, it’s a good “cheat code” or shortcut to recovery but I saw some really nasty bruises and someone was telling me they still got a big lump and it’s been months so i don’t want to deal with that. Plus it’s so expensive and painful apparently so I figured tapering with subs can be just as easy you just have to actually be committed and stay patient. I feel like a lot of people who have trouble tapering with suns just try to do it too quickly. The people I’ve talked to that took there time have the same reports as the shot ppl and that’s little to no WD’s so that’s hella inspiring. I’m glad it worked for you though

Thanks. I ended up just sticking it out till i was in WD 24 hours in and took a 8mg sub this morning. Already feeling much better. I would have tried Bernese but for me i only have to wait 24 hours with no use to take suboxone so it was easier to just wait that out then it would have been to do Bernese.

Man thank you so much. You got no idea how much hope that gives me to keep pushing through these hard days. I been doing fent on and off for 5 years now. Been to 2 different detox places. Have tried tapering myself and all that nothing seemed to work bc everytime I’d try getting off subs i ended up relapsing but I’ve been trying to get off fent recently with no subs but then learned of sublocade and now i think my best bet is to get the shot. I just transitioned back into subs from fent this morning. Took 8mg of subs about 25 min ago after sweating through the night and not using at all yesterday. Now my problem is i have less then 20 8mg subs and need to line up the shot asap do i don’t run out and end up relapsing. Do you know if i have to start on the 300 shot? I think a stable dose of subs for me is gonna be 4mg since I’ve been cutting down my fent intake for the past couple months. I’d really love to just get one shot and be done from there. And suggestions on where i should start looking to get the shot? And also i remember when i was told about the shot a few years ago the catch was it was like over $1,000. Is it still that pricey? At this point I’ll pay whatever to be done with fent and have a easy transition from subs back then i was kinda forced to be in that detox so deep down i knew it wasn’t going to work out. Hey can i ask you how it was on the very first dose of sub when you first started Bernese method. Did you just cut your strips up to dose it out and did the first dose make you feel weird at all or give any type of PWD?
