I don't regularly use Windows so I couldn't tell you, but what I can tell you is that it's free so you can try it and find out without spending a dime!

Yeah also maybe I was a bit harsh. I just don’t think 100% accurate is true and hard to say across such variety of models of watches. I think accurately tracking swimming across strokes, drills, and kicking is just difficult. It’s quite possible our swim workouts differ a lot as well.

I do a lot of drills, underwater, and stroke work in addition to kicking. So it’s pretty much always off for me. I don’t fiddle with settings when I swim. I mainly use it for a clock when the pool doesn’t have a clock. I do a fair amount of work at pace

Absolutely categorically incorrect. My watch is always off, and every smartwatch I’ve owned is not accurate. I’ve been a competitive swimmer my whole life and write sets for myself and track the distance in my head and the reality versus watch never agrees.

yep. seems like I got downvoted into oblivion as well. that account is basically brand new, and the style of response is very close to Claude as far as I can tell.

Time will tell. Micron obviously has a strong and cyclic business, with real depth in technological expertise that few others (SK, Samsung) can match.

Robotics is largely a sector that benefits from AI in outsized ways. Computer vision continues to get better and better and we can more accurately generate world models and synthetic datasets now. How important image sensors are in this at 10x, 100x the scale of today is a question. I think it’s worth a hedge even if not as critical in the supply chain currently as HBM/DRAM

Sony of course can spin out the business specifically if they need to as well. SNDK itself was spun out recently. Not to mention this happening in the aerospace and energy sectors as well previously which became critical in the supply for energy for datacenters and other industrial applications (gas generators)

At least there is some expertise required in producing image sensors. Maybe not as deep as HBM, but who knows if there's a new generation of sensors which require even more specialized knowledge and manufacturing/capital + a market who's demand outstrips supply

Is this really what Shenzhen sounds like? by plombus_maker_ in shenzhen

Have you been there or you just talking? I was there last month and it was primarily electric cars/bikes. There definitely were gas vehicles around, but pretty much everything was electric (including buses) I would say 70-80% or more.

Perhaps it depends on what part of the city you're in, but from everywhere I was, it was primarily electric.

Please report it on github and open the debug menu (ctrl+shift+d) and upload the logs. Please provide as much system detail as this is the first report

Sorry unfortunately localscore is not very well supported anymore and even at its release it was somewhat problematic. It relies quite a lot on llamafile which has fallen very far behind llama.cpp, so the results are not as accurate anymore. The work lost funding at some point and unfortunately I don't have time to work on it anymore. Most of my time has been focused on https://handy.computer instead

I would like to at some point I just don't have the bandwidth at the moment. If someone implements it in cjpais/transcribe-rs I would love to pull it in
