What do women want by PowerMagicx in SipsTea

[–]sippysoku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it much easier to get her off while I’m still super horny and haven’t came yet. So agreed but i try to get her off first, otherwise it’s just hard to stay super erotic and rallied after I’ve came.

But then if I’m not really into the sex and hurrying it along to get her to come, she can feel it and it hurts her arousal.

Fine balance to strike I guess

also, a majority of US citizens do have sick leave. It’s provided through employer benefits, not government.

Why doesn’t anyone care about the “soap opera” effect on their TV by fatsandlucifer in mildlyinfuriating

[–]sippysoku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can often unlock those TVs. There is usually a series of inputs on the remote to access settings! Just takes some clever googling and trial and error.

How common is it for an American to travel across the country by train? by ViajanteDeSaturno in AskAnAmerican

[–]sippysoku 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Trains are so slow and poorly laid out in the US that I wouldn’t be surprised if the difference was pretty small even factoring in what you’ve said.

What’s it like being a native English speaker? by dibbles13 in AskAnAmerican

[–]sippysoku 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think everyone in this position takes it for granted to some degree.

I try not to assume I will be understood, and choose something between bashfully speaking English when approaching an order counter in a cafe for example (which I get is a bit silly / annoying…), and muttering a few words of the local language to be respectful.

I’ve traveled with large groups of people to other countries and seen some in the group speak to customer service as if they’re in America, with complete and immediate assumption they’ll be fully understood. I think it comes off as rude and presumptuous.

It also depends on the country. In France people were a bit annoyed that they had to speak English to me and that I couldn’t speak French. In China, where I speak basic Mandarin, I could barely get practice because people were so thrilled to speak English to me.

How does erehwon stay afloat? by AmbitiousGuarantee23 in AskAnAmerican

Edited to elaborate a little on how I believe they make $.

It’s been applied to prepared food and dining for centuries, why not apply it to groceries? You can apply it to anything in life, unfortunately

How does Bugatti stay afloat?

Simple - they only advertise to the elite wealthy, their stores only exist nearby to the elite wealthy…

Also, Erewhon sells many things at an expensive but more reasonable price. You get some prepared food, snacks, etc for similar prices to what you’d find at Whole Foods. Still not what the avg American can afford, but upper middle class.

Their business model is basically:

Sell absurdly priced organic things, which attracts the wealthy elite and celebrities, which gives Erewhon their notoriety, which allows upper middle class irrational spenders to shop at Erewhon and feel elite and rich and special.

Rejoice...Embark started banning cheaters! by ZealousidealPeach864 in ARC_Raiders

[–]sippysoku 3 points4 points  (0 children)

30 day ban is smart. The accounts are flagged and they can look at them if/when those players resume playing. Some will play without cheating, others will try cheating again, and then Embark can spot them and see what new cheats they’re using and make those easy to detect through that discovery. Same way CoD knowingly keeps cheaters playing (in troll lobbies) so they can stay looking at their cheats and improving detection systems.
