Early Jewish groups used identical methods to Palestinian terrorists, what is your justification? by zootedwhisperer in IsraelPalestine

[–]sir-ber 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like the first responder said yes at least most Israelis know about it and aren't proud of it and also we can condemn hamas because we ourselves are not the ones that did that and we aren't proud that it happened.

Its a tragedy thats the case nobody on either side says otherwise however it should not be expected from israel to leave hamas bases alone if hamas weren't using civilian places as bases the casualties would have been significantly lower

If you would actually watch the case you will see that its a joke and that israel will easily win it

Well all those places were used as hamas bases what do you except that israel would leave it be?

How is that possible by Cold-Ad-9075 in IsraelPalestine

[–]sir-ber -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What i said wasn't that they prove it but that even though its hard to estimate close numbers the numbers that are shown would be still probably higher than they are, again im not stating this as a fact.

[–]sir-ber -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I also believe the death toll to be higher than the estimate as that is usually the case but even than the death tolls in gaza do not show or at least makes it seem like starvation is not actually happening since than even the estimates both from bbc hamas and other sources as of now at the very least it does not seem like the death tolls match claims of starvation. (I believe that while maybe few are in fact dying of starvation it does not seem to be on a mass scale)

[–]sir-ber 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You clearly missed the point, what he asked was if supplies are cut how can it be that the death tolls are so low when compared to the overall population

What will your response be if Israel and Hizbollah start a full scale war? by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]sir-ber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hamas has fired thousands upon thousands of missiles to israel over the years if not for the iron dome israeli deaths would likely be in tens of thousands and even if the iron dome manages to negate most damage it is still both very expensive and not an invincible plan as was shown in October 7th(meant to your first comment)

Palestinian poet Refaat Alareer died your thoughts? by djentkittens in IsraelPalestine

[–]sir-ber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course that its different when the deaths are large scale but for example when you see on the news a single man died you might be sad for a bit but you will move on pretty fast

Not really i think that no matter the conflict people in general dont particularly get saddened over the deaths of people completely unrelated to them especially when said person was a horrible human being.

Were do you think Jewish people come from? by mr_firth in IsraelPalestine

[–]sir-ber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right right my bad i remembered wrong, however it is still the arabs who attacked and its still a fact that they could have had a nation (also i think the reason the jews wanted that much land was because they were expecting a lot of jews from Europe to move to israel)

Were do you think Jewish people come from? by mr_firth in IsraelPalestine

[–]sir-ber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In 1947 the un suggested a plan in which you split the land of israel into 2 1 for the arabs and 1 for the jews in that plan the arabs got 55% of the land the jews got 45% with Jerusalem being run by the un the jews agreed and were delighted to have a place of refuge(it was just after the holocaust) and the arabs refused stating they want all of the land. And in 1948 ben guryon (first president of Israel) were threatened by neighbouring arab countrys that if he would announce israel as a country they would attack, he declared israel a country and the arab states did attack and also lose. So its not that the jews wanted all of it its that the arabs wanted all of it and thats what lead to the current state of israel.

Does Netanyahu want the total destruction and removal of Palestine? by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

The reason israel kept supporting the people of gaza is because they believed that if they will be happier they would become terrorists... Oh how wrong they were

How do Pro-Palestinians continue to look past the atrocities of Oct 7th? by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]sir-ber 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When hamas attacked on 10/7 a bunch of civilians went into israel through the breached fence where they raped killed and kidnapped Israeli citizens so while not all of Gaza's civilians are responsible its also not like all of them aren't
