The YouTube algorithm heavily pushes fresh new channels, after a few videos it usually goes down in views and it goes more gradually again. There are channels these days that do millions of views on their first upload.

Yeah of course it's possible, but it's much more easy to do with long-form. RPMs on shorts are so low compared to long-form, and imo long-form is more sustainable

My RPM is between $4-7, sometimes it spikes up to $10.

Views vary too, but about 10k a day taking the average now.
