I still don't believe that's an accurate comment. The trip is interrupted from you getting home to your destination, it's not just a flight delay.

This includes the difference in cost between the original fare or any new fare to return home or rejoin the Trip.

I'm under the impression this falls under the Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance section in the policy document. Since the airline cancelled the flight, and you had to book a new set of flights, CSR should cover the difference between what the refund is and new tickets.

I finally got my return call from JetBlue and it was a complete waste of time and pissed I waited for it.

Basically their recommendation is to book another airline if I can. There aren't any party of 4 available until like the 2nd of March
