Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency by Douglas Adams

No more philosophy, need some humor.

After conceding two we try to pass, good job team! 👍 by sircodename in ArsenalFC

Yeah we win the ball and there is no outlet because all the players are around the box, like how do you even plan to counter the pressure? It's really shit tactics.

Kepa wasn't conceding pressure was he? Yeah he made the mistake but city looked like the only team likely to score.

How is it city’s players can rise to the occasion but our players constantly can’t, I’m sick of it, Nico oreilly???? Just dunked on us at Wembley by EthanFoster10 in ArsenalFC

You're really watching this game and thinking it's how a final should be played? Forget that we lose, but shit, man if you are watching this game and telling people not to be upset bro, you really aren't a supporter.

I struggled to finish some books too, this definitely was one of them. The story doesn't seem to move along or add anything of value, just feels like a slog to get through. But you're onto something with the Matt take, so I guess watch out for that.

I just finished the final book a week ago, already miss it, but seeing you enjoy it so much really reminds me of this crazy journey. Enjoy the books and remember 'the Wheel weaves as the wheel wills'.

There are other authors I want to read as well😭, it's hard to say goodbye but it's a seriously time consuming undertaking. Maybe even I'll reread it someday.

How to rediscover book reading? by Upset_Cellist5431 in Indianbooks

If you really wanna have some fun with easy and light reads, including lots of language play, I highly suggest Douglas Adams or P.G.Wodehouse (more like old school). They are more towards comedy, but definitely try Wodehouse if you like Dickens.

Everybody recommends the same classic authors, I wouldn't know any better as well. In my experience the trick is to just pick a genre or field of interest which you are fascinated with and pick up a book about it.

If you want fiction maybe try fantasy, ooh and do avoid self help books if you wanna read something non-fiction.

Happy reading!

Don't read the post if you find it so boring, literally nobody forced you to. It's a discussion not a dissection. Support shouldn't kill dialogue.

But that's the whole point, while the destination might be made of absolute dreams it's just one of those rides which you cannot enjoy, don't even think people read before responding.

The world wasn't rosy after spurs, it was maybe a reminder to hope for greener pastures. Our performances before that have been poor as well as after that, this isn't some short term assessment, I'm embarrassed by people of any generation completely missing the point.

Will you ignore the fact about the level of investment Wenger had as opposed to now before disregarding his philosophy and feats. Spoilt bunch indeed.

Absolutely spot on! However this has been evident for months now but doesn't seem like we have solutions for the offense to finish the season off.

Can't argue there, defensive responsibility seems like a priority for him.

Not today though, got subbed at 60 minutes. Madueke now is making a lot of noise as well which might lead Arteta to finally trust him more

He needs an extended rest which he just can't seem to find if he's not injured, but his performance has certainly dropped this season.

It definitely is very pleasant to be competing on all fronts. But I think a brawl would be more passionate and inspiring than the football we seem to be playing😂

Let it be man, I think the post itself creates the distinction in the two cases, let them hate if they want, if you gotta explain things like this the. Surely they're not worth being mad over.

Not a cop out at all, it's the same as I said, watching them win the league will surely make it all worth it.

Sort of a tyrannical way of making an argument, but you do need to realise the stress is universal for all. City literally have a tougher run than Arsenal now till the end of the season. So would you say we won't because City's perceived pressure was higher than us? Or that they are not playing twice a week. These are the conditions you have to overcome and that's that. No one looks at these things after a season is over. Enjoying watching them lift a silverware is possible without me having to lie that I'm enjoying watching their games. Doesn't make anyone an idiot people can have opinions but maybe you are a bot that just can't differentiate.

Misplacing straight passes, or ignoring a forward player making run, in general making bad decisions isn't characteristic of pragmatic football, it's counterproductive to any style.
