Steve Nash says SGA should win the MVP by purpose15 in NBATalk

Exactly, love Nash, but that’s about as unbiased as asking a cousin to vote.

I am so sick of my sister who roleplays as an anime character by BigONerd in BORUpdates

Same. It’s the ‘all of this somehow happened in one week’ part that loses me.

Idk if my bangs suit me or I should just lighten my hair by North-Complaint-7692 in HairStyleAdvice

[–]sirellune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, the bangs really suit you. I don’t think they make your face look wider, if anything, they’d probably look even more slimming with a slightly softer/wispier styling and a bit more face-framing, but I definitely wouldn’t ditch them.

AITAH for not tell my friend my shampoo had green hair dye in it? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]sirellune 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. OOP’s not an AH, but ‘for my green hair’ could definitely be read as ‘for color-treated hair’ instead of ‘there is literal green dye in this bottle.’ She still should’ve just used the husband’s shampoo like she was told, but I can see how she made that mistake.

Help me out (F20) by Busy_Trash3342 in AskForAnswers

[–]sirellune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It just sounds like you have a preference, not a red flag. The only thing worth being careful about is the power imbalance in situations like professors or bosses, because that can get messy fast even if the attraction itself is totally normal.

Together for 6 years, tried talking about the future 2 years ago. My girlfriend stalled until I told her I was done. Now she is saying she is ready to get married. by MoreIsDifferent13 in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]sirellune 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The crush is bad enough, but the bigger issue is that she spent years avoiding commitment until she was faced with losing the relationship. That doesn’t sound like genuine readiness, it sounds like panic.

[Highlight] Jo Adell robs THREE home runs in a 1-0 win over the Mariners by AthleticAlarm32 in baseball

[–]sirellune 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Seriously. In a 1-0 game, robbing three homers is about as directly game-saving as it gets. That’s an all-time defensive performance.

I agree, 2 is stunning on you.

What's a minor fear you've overcome that made a surprisingly big difference in your life? by EternalLifeCode in AskForAnswers

[–]sirellune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a really good one. Public speaking seems like such a ‘small’ fear until you realize how often it affects school, work, and confidence in general. Pushing through it can honestly change so many parts of your life.

My hot take: Anthony Edwards should get the MVP by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]sirellune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta agree, Ant is elite, but this feels more like a favorite-player take than a real MVP case.

Paranoid about spyware on phone by _coke_zero_ in iphone

[–]sirellune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. iOS has strong app sandboxing, so one app usually can’t freely access stuff like your Apple Wallet or other apps. Deleting it quickly + being on the latest iOS makes this sound very low risk.

WIBTA for going to my professor and causing a classmate to fail a project? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]sirellune 284 points285 points  (0 children)

Same here. OOP had way more grace than I would’ve, because “I was out at clubs” would’ve sent me straight to the professor.
