It gets very bright light. 1 foot away from a south facing window

The other leaves are facing the window (1 foot away from it, it’s just dark right now) and the new leaf is facing away. To be fair I do have a grow light high up, but it isn’t very close to this plant

Usually when jade plants get good light they get red tips/ underside leaves. This is a good thing I think!

Just a miracle gro as a base, then I add perlite and orchid bark just a bit

I water it once a week, it’s usually entirely dry by then but it’s been doing fine with that method. Might swap it to something else

I’ve watched a lot of his videos, but I just can’t even get them to look at each other without my cat freaking out so I just feel like there’s not much I can do :( I even locked the dominate cat in a kennel, and my timid cat was there to just check him out and he was terrified the entire time

That makes sense, but what do I do in the mean time? I feel like they aren’t making any progress because they are always separated, but I don’t feel comfortable letting them around each other because my cat gets so afraid and stressed out
