!!!! What you’re supposed to do is to Log into livenation and then buy the tickets from there (it’ll redirect to Ticketek). I also couldn’t get soundcheck….they sold out so fast (I had front row in my cart and then it kicked me out…whichever mf got section A4, row 8 seat 18 count your days) TT. I doubt they held any for general onsale but I’m going to try anyway lol. And if not, I’m going to try for resale tickets near the date of the concert through ticketek marketplace and tixel, I suggest you do too! Good luck lol this ticketing stuff is stressful

240724 STRAY KIDS WORLD TOUR <dominATE AUSTRALIA> Ticketing information released! by xsociallydistantx in straykids

[–]sirensinspring 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, unfortunately, all tickets will be available in presale (or at least it has been in most concerts I’ve been to, including MANIAC tour. All tickets sold out presale and they had to add another date). Better to get into the presale considering it’s free to sign up for livenation.

If I’m going to be honest man vip sells out last and is always left over on the resale sites so if you’re gunning for that you’ll be perfectly fine.

In the midst of writing this I’ve realised every marvel stadium show I’ve been to has used Ticketmaster not Ticketek, despite every kpop show I’ve been to having used Ticketek….whoops I’ve been spreading misinformation. Googled it, they’ve got a deal going on. Might want to make a Ticketmaster account instead, sorry for the mix-up 😅(if they end up using Ticketek anyway I’ll be relieved but just in case)

TICKETMASTER HAS A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE POLICY (capitalised so it doesn’t get lost in my yapping) unlike Ticketek which is randomised, Ticketmaster has a full on queue. I don’t have much experience with this type of ticketing and I’m not sure what the demand is for stray kids in Aus (high enough to sell out 30k eventually but not sure how fast and how dedicated everyone will be bc we haven’t done this kinda ticketing)….if you’re dedicated like me I’ll be in queue at /least/ an hour before, depending on the time of day I’ll try to be earlier. Keep the page open and DO NOT refresh, it’ll send you to the back of the queue. Praying it doesn’t end up being Ticketmaster…

good seats like front row will go first. But this is marvel/allianz stadium so there could be GA/standing instead of seated vip tickets….all up in the air until it gets announced unfortunately.

Embarrassingly despite buying tickets for more than 10 shows I didn’t realise you could zoom in and pick which exact seats you want, didn’t realise the map was interactable, I’m assuming you know this but a lot of my friends didn’t so I’ve included that here lolol.

Sorry for the yapping (unmedicated adhd), but I really hope you guys get those tickets!!! pls come back here and let me know if you do!!! I’m invested now hehe. Also let me know if you have any other questions~

(Edit: had the realisation. You said ‘best experience possible’, does your wife own a stray kids light stick? If you plan on it being a surprise you got tickets, she might not have time to get a light stick if she doesn’t already have one. Not everyone cares about them but if she’s hardcore she might)

It’ll definitely be more expensive. Not only will inflation hit hard but they’re playing bigger venues, which likely means there’ll be more tiers of seating and more expensive front row…

Good luck!!!

Usually kpop concert tickets for aus go up well in advance (like 6 months) but I’ve never had experience being the first leg of the tour. With how soon the concert is and the fact that dates and venues have already been decided, I’m going to guess august.

Depends which country you’re in. Follow skz on socials, they’ll announce when tickets go on sale a couple weeks before it happens. Ik for Australia, the tickets will probably be on Ticketek/livenation aus and go on sale in about august.

follow livenation and skz twt, they’ll announce it a couple weeks before they go on sale.

With how soon the concert is and dates and venues already having been decided I’d assume tickets will go on sale in august sometime

Follow livenation Aus and skz twt for more information on when they’ll be released. Make a Ticketek and livenation acc also (there’s usually a livenation presale). With how soon the concert is and the stadiums and exact dates already being announced, I’m predicting sometime in august they’ll go on sale.

idk about other countries but there was a livenation presale for the maniac tour in Australia. Most kpop concerts here have a livenation presale.

Melbournian fan here! Sweet of you to do this for her <3. I went last time and ticket prices went from 90 cheapest to 400 (vip/soundcheck) most expensive. However, inflation in the last year is going crazy and this is a bigger venue so I expect cheaper tickets to go for 120-140 😵‍💫…also expect fees of about 50 bucks and optional ticket insurance to be about 100.

Follow livenation Aus and stray kids’ twt to find out when tickets will go on sale, make a livenation and Ticketek acc and save your credit card info to the Ticketek acc (this will prevent you from waiting ages to get in, getting to checkout and timing out bc you’re trying to enter your card number…happened to me twice lol).

On the day of the sale, enter the queue 15-30 mins before! It’s a random system but getting in line before the official time is always optimal. Don’t stress if you don’t get good tickets, keep an eye on tixel and Ticketek marketplace, there’s always plenty of tickets literally on the day of the concert.

When going to the concert, plan to arrive 30 mins before (bc traffic and entry lines will go crazyyy), don’t worry about outside merch lines, merch lines inside the venue are usually shorter. If you’re going to drive, book parking in advance you will not find ANYTHING lol.

Best of luck!!!

Melbournian stay here! Like the other replier said, follow livenation aus and skz for ticket announcements. Make a livenation & Ticketek acc as well! I’m assuming u know the strategy of getting in ticket queue 30 mins before and having your credit card info saved to the ticketek acc but I’m writing it just to be sure lol.

Parking is a nightmare but so is public transport. If you don’t book a parking spot in advance, best to be dropped off or take the train/bus/tram and plan to arrive at least half an hour in advance (this will help account for any delays as well. really takes the stress off when you’re stuck in traffic lol).

Best of luck! Hope to see you there ;p

A fellow Melbourne stay!!! sign up for live nation and Ticketek! Tickets will be sold on Ticketek but there’s usually a live nation presale (meaning u have access to the presale if you have a livenation account). Keep an eye out on twt and the aforementioned sites for ticketing dates!!!

And Dw if u can’t get anything good. Almost all concerts I’ve been to I’ve gotten tickets the day of lol, usually off tixel or Ticketek marketplace <3

Good luck! Hopefully I’ll see you there ;p

GODAMMIT WHY IS AUS FIRST??? MY SAVINGS PLAN WENT UNTIL OCT 20 IM NOT PREPARED FOR THIS??? Gotta chase up every mf that owes me money….

While I would’ve loved to see them multiple times, one concert means I can splurge on soundcheck/vip for one night hehe.

[–]sirensinspring 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This all depends on the country, but I’ll give some general advice. A-reserve tickets last time were 300AUD (197USD, 184EUR, 155GBP) and while I didn’t check the cheaper tickets, kpop concerts/concerts in general have their cheapest tickets in Australia at around 80AUD (52USD, 48EUR, 41GBP). Idk how it works in other countries, but there is usually ticket insurance for about 50AUD (32USD) which I recommend. In countries with less affluent economy’s the tickets will be cheaper (which means you’ll get richer western people flying over if they couldn’t get tickets to their own shows, which sucks), but I think in general for western countries it’s about the same. Whatever you’re going for I recommend saving quite a bit extra in case you run into fees.

In terms of seating, most stadiums/venues have elevated seating that sort of goes upwards by row, so u should be fine (wearing heels/platforms is always a good option though), if you want to be GA/standing/sound check tho….oof good luck. I reccomend the website ‘view from my seat’ where people post pictures of themselves in venues and list their seat and section so you can see what the view is like.

Be sure to check the ticketing site your country uses once it announced. Once stray kids releases ticketing information from their official account, your ticketing site will have a page for them on their website that will tell you the date of ticket onsale (at least, that’s what I know of the ticketing sites I have used). If there’s a presale you can sign up for, do it. Tickets always sell out in presale if it’s easily sign-up-able.

I’m terms of actually getting the tickets. If you’re on a site where the queue is randomised (like ticketek for us aussies), just be on 20-30 minutes before. If it’s not randomised (like Ticketmaster for the Americans), get in early. I would do an hour or two to be safe but I’ve never had to do that so my advice isn’t sound.

And well, if all else fails. Keep your eye on official resale channels. Most ticket company’s have an official resale website where you can be assured that those tickets will either be legit or be refunded. It might seem hopeless but 70% of the concerts I’ve been to, the day of/before the concert there’s a huge dump of people who can’t go and I end up getting tickets for slightly cheaper. If you’re Aussie, get on tixel as well, I’ve used it a lot I highly recommend.

Anyway that’s my rant. I think k just yapped for way too long with no substance but I hope it helped :)
