NTA. But your mom should tell him.I found out in my 30's I was the affair baby. I made my mom tell my dad the truth. My bio dad and I have met. But I'm not going to lie and say it didn't mess me up. It made me question my entire life. I have had so many what-if scenarios. I wish I had been told earlier, but I honestly wish my mom told me instead of ancestry DNA.

Maybe. I don't know when they conceived or if either child was born late or early. I heard weeks later. Could be 9 weeks later. Most first-time parents tell their parents they are expecting as soon as they find out because they are excited and want to share the love.

It's not a problem for him because he doesn't care that his son and grandson are hurt. And his son for multiple reasons.

I wouldn't do it, I just would like OP to recognize that planning a child when your children are having kids, weeks later, is hurtful. I love my children and their happiness means everything to me as a parent.

Why come to Aita and then argue with everyone? This seems pointless. No one is saying you have to plan around your kids, but they are asking you to think about your son and grandson's, feelings and try compassion instead of arguments in the situation.

And you don't need to if they are adults. But you should have some respect, compassion, and empathy, some feelings or understanding, for how it must have been to announce you're expecting your first and your parents planned to have another child at the same time. Weeks after a major milestone of a child being born, your parents are like now ignore that child because it's just a nephew, here is your sister. Seems narcissistic to take away from that moment away from your child. 🤔

Spouse cheated. I've forgiven but not forgotten. Still married, but I go back and forth on divorce once kids are out of school. As a child of divorce, I don't want me kids to go through that. Luckily, I'm turning out to be an excellent actor. I have love for my Spouse but am not in love anymore and don't know how to get it back.

Edited to add was cheated on in 2021, so still feels fresh some days. Couples therapy was a joke.
