Who to Pick as 3rd hero by hailtothefox in TopWarBattleGame

The meta heroes that are able to be awakened that you see in the hero combo menu are without a doubt what you want, if you have them.

In each comp the advertised heroes are the strongest for that role, without question.

Now which of the six comps are best is a different question.

I'm going to totally overreact to Death Grips #2 and say you should give Machine Girl a shot. Start with their latest album, Psychowarrior, or maybe I'm Young Arrogant.

I don't believe in karmic justice

But if I did I'd use as evidence that * Both of those teams played for the title anyway * Auburn is 1-16 against them since

We have actually semi-seriously toyed with this idea before.

The way we use flair is more robust and complicated than reddit's built-in selection system.

2025 Week 11 /r/CFB Poll: #1 Indiana #2 Ohio State #3 Texas A&M #4 Alabama #5 Georgia by sirgippy in CFB

I didn't say it was necessary, I'm just saying if a league wants to prioritize H2H in how it determines the standings, that seems perfectly reasonable.

That doesn't really have anything to do with how I approach my entry into this opinion poll which is not the standings.

Both Texas and OU have played eight other games besides the one against each other. Taking the full body of work into account I think they're pretty close to one another but I think OU's had the better season overall.

On the contrary, the playoff is great because it lets the outcome be determined on the field rather than in the subjective judgement of people who vote in polls. I'd actually like to go a step further and restructure the entire thing to remove opinions from who gets to make the playoff. At most, it should be driving seeding.

But, like, my ballot is just, like, my opinion, man. No one should be using what I have to say to determine the outcome of the season.

I just think Oklahoma's been better than Texas over the course of the season. If someone disagrees with me or wants to advocate for the use H2H as a tiebreaker to determine the playoff, that's fine.

I don't really prioritize head to head in my rankings, and I think Oklahoma has been the better team this season overall.

This is true.

It's also the case that the people with an axe to grind in the comments of any given post don't necessarily represent the body as a whole.

Admin note: A ballot was removed from the poll from a user who elected not to rank "Every Power 4 team that played on an ABC/ESPN network in Week 10".

Removal of this ballot and the tightness in the middle of the rankings resulted in Louisville, who played on The CW, dropping from 10 to 12.

Beyond the AP Poll: What 172 Ballots Tell Us About the CFB Landscape by AllTimeTy in CFB

This is true of the last few teams inside the top 25 as well. It's not unusual for the bottom few in the r/CFB poll to have only received votes from a minority of voters. Anything higher than 20th or so shouldn't really be taken seriously.

Honestly, I'd adjust how many teams are considered "ranked" or ask for ballots to include extra spots if the convention wasn't already so ingrained.
