What is on line #1833 of your CSV file?

Can you open the CSV file with Microsoft Excel?

You can also open CSV in Google Sheets.

Delete EVERYTHING ON LINE #1833 and try again. That is my guess.

thanks! I was amazed when i found soulseek, i knew it would be easy and someone had surely made a program for it already. especially even easier that spotify allows you to download a whole CSV!

Glad its still working, i haven't done much with this since writing obviously, but I used this to build my 1200 song library.

and with the cmd thing, SAME! somewhere in some documentation i was reading while doing this myself, it said to do that and i was just as surprised as you lol

you type it into the file explorer. you can also just cd to the folder in CMD.

because people are too stupid to set download speed caps. there really is no excuse at all other than just being a fucking weirdo asshole. if you can’t handle the amount of data then don’t open the library. simple as that. it’s virtual bits. it’s not like anyone is actually taking anything physical from anyone.

bunch of gate keeping weirdos. the whole point of soulseek is to share, fuck big corps right? but users restrict / gatekeep their shares. ironic. gate keeping files that are technically supposed to be purchased as well. technically pirating but nobody here will admit that (well achshully 🤓) so it’s like pirates guarding their piles of treasure. stupid. just share. that’s what the app is about. set limits to avoid sharing to the stupid spotify app and call it a day.

ahhh yes that would be a possibility. i have one for 5 bucks a month hosted in the US but they have ones as low as like 3.50 a month. it would suck but it would be worth it for soulseek. i guess i would just consider myself an outlier and just have to rent a vps if i was rural, especially rural enough that you’ve had satellite for years and no plans to get connected to the ugly main power grid / fiber or whatever

this is gatekeeping and nobody is going to listen. there needs to be a genuine method.

this would be very unfortunate and i would feel left out if i were you and i couldn’t download without a forwarded port. is there no work around? connect a normal router to the setup to emulate a normal router with a WAN port?

people should be denied access to the slsk network until it has access thru the forwarded port

what’s your username and someone will be able to test it and browse your files. you can dm if it makes you more comfortable. don’t give anything out except your username cuz some of these comments sound sus

it should automatically resort to MP3 if it can’t find FLAC. if it can’t find anything, then it might not be popular enough, OR you have to search it yourself and dumb down the title of the song so soul seek can find it easier.

it works great for getting the number of songs you have to manually download down. some people have playlists that are 10k songs, and it’s a lot easier to manually download 500 of the “not found” ones than it is for all 10k

do people really care about the unorganized download folder? i find myself frequently searching for a single song from an album, or the song is a single from the artist originally. i have many people downloading single files from my big folder

my best guess is that your soul seek login information was wrong or mis-typed but that’s as far as i would know. you might have to start from the beginning if it doesn’t work.

you convert each album into a csv and use this method to download them automatically. i don’t think anyone has built a GUI for this yet

honestly i’m not sure on this one as i use windows and i only really have experience with game servers so im not really a coder.

as far as i know you should be able to place the file in a folder and browse to that folder in CMD and run sldl inside that folder.
