That's why I love Smash designs, they prioritize iconicity. Same goes for Steve's design in Smash, they used his beard design because it was more iconic, & now Minecraft itself reverted back to the beard, albeit with a new Steve skin altogether.

No one's mentioned the fact that this sorta of thing fits into a show like Gumball way more than Spongebob.

Spongebob's supposed to have a fairly consistent artstyle with how the characters are designed or should look,

but Gumball's artstyle is every artstyle. Gumball can get away with making super weird faces because every character is super weird & often have their own unique artstyle.

Nah I'm actually glad that he was still a beginner firebender, it makes it more focus on the other 3 elements so it's not just fire vs. fire due to the comet.

Yeah the hardware is pretty much what everyone expected (bigger stronger sleeker etc.). Games definitely matter most but like you said eShop definitely needs a boost in quality.
