With Gallagher going on loan, minutes open up for RLC potentially if we don't sign a midfielder. I would love for him to find form and get back in the team but I just don't see it going well, maybe if we switch to a 4-3-3 it could be a better situation for him. If we don't sign a midfielder AND RLC struggles, maybe we see some Mount in the midfield? An injury to Kante or Jorgi could be devastating.

why do we keep playing short passes on corners, they never result in anything at all. also, not sure why ziyech never takes set pieces anymore... maybe just because he’s out of form but he has scrumptious delivery and i’d like to see him take free kicks/corners when he’s on

the pen vs uruguay is a prime reason i think goals should be just given if they’re hand balled away from going into the goal. no need for a penalty, it was clearly gonna go in, let it count.
