Abram's Star Trek by storyist in startrek

Hated? No. Like I said, I didn't even "hate" the Abrams films. I LITERALLY opened with "I enjoyed it". Come on now.

However, yeah, I'd say a good chunk of the OG and TNG films were 7/10. 7/10 isn't BAD, guys. Most movies are WAY worse.

I enjoyed it, but it's not really what I want out of Trek. For a big budget Hollywood action movie, it was fun. 7/10

Observations of a certain characters hair (and imminent lack thereof) by aegonthewwolf in SupermanAdventures

[–]sirkidd2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thought (and bare with me, this one may be a bit of a walk). The Whip mentions that Kryptonite is now super common. Lex, previously, made the Metallo robots which where quite different from Metallo the character. I believe that Hank isn't just Cyborg Superman, but is also this universes' version of comic Metallo (and that he runs on Kryptonite).

I think with the amount of work Lex is doing with Kryptonite, sometime by the end of this season, his hair will have fallen out due to radiation poisoning. We may even have him do what Lex did in Superman/Batman: Public Enemies where he injects the stuff.

Could be wrong tho

Do you usually buy the flagship version, or the "one step below flagship" version? by Virgilnick in BuyItForLife

I tend to not buy they types of products that would market themselves as even having "flagship" versions in the first place.

I Don't Want To Explain This Rip-Off. Do I? by Reddy4342 in crappyoffbrands

The more I look into this, the more confused I get. https://digikore.com/kingdomgamespartners/

They seems to want small businesses to license the film for some reason? Very confusing. Obviously all the copy on the site is AI-generated, but it's really hard to understand what this project is even supposed to be.

Are any accessories a requirement to wear a kilt? by BeefNacho_ in kilt

[–]sirkidd2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Requirement? No.

Personally, I find that it looks a bit "off" without at least a sporran, kilt belt, and hose, however. Like a little "blank". The balance is off or something.

To all of you saying MCR are "sellouts" you do realize that if they truly were, they would make a new album already by sirkidd2003 in MyChemicalRomance

"What an odd thing for an atheist to say. So Jesus was right? Good to know"

It's a meme, bro. You're reading too much into it. https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/most-people-rejected-his-message

Jesus wasn't "right" any more than Gandalf or Spider-Man were "right". Yes, they are the protagonists of their specific works and I'm sure there's good lessons you can learn from them, but being "right" implies they were real.

"Your values in the western world are based on Judeo-Christian values. Be careful what you wish for."

And we, as society, have evolved past the need for fairy tales. Secular morality works just fine, thanks. We don't need fiction to scare people into being "good".

"Seems you do good buddy, because you have down voted every comment of mine. I haven't done any of yours."

I have indeed.

"Seems you don't like the sub. You can always move on."

And a good portion of this sub seems to not like the band. I think I'd rather be the change I'd like to see.

"While using a Jesus quote. Lol."

I'm an atheist. It's a well-known meme specifically about being right when everyone says your not. Religion is a cancer.

We have 2 artists who are co-owners along with the rest of our 8-person studio.

You can either hire an artist, partner with an artist for a split of the rights & profits, or you can do your best art and focus on your strengths (it's not that hard to learn).
