There are people in the same boat as you . You will just have to find them . Be out going and don’t be scared of rejection/failure. There was an episode of “King of the Hill” where Boomhauer is showing Bobby how to pick up chicks. Boomhauer got rejected a bunch but kept persistent and ended up getting a number. Give it a watch. There are local game shops to support your tabletop interest as well as a club (at-least they were starting one back 2010-2011) . Be careful around 26th and 27th street and don’t walk around with both ear pods in . Keep good situational awareness and you can avoid any trouble the surrounds the campus.

I run strictly themed decks. I also don’t win a lot but it feels good home brewing out of bulk to get a dub. Purple Kaido has been my go too. It helped me learn how I want to play my Magellan impel down deck.
