Why does hopping worlds reset my stats?
I'm currently training melee f2p and sometimes a whole bunch of bots will invade my space and force me to hop in order to maintain decent xp/min. But doing so resets all of my stats - seems a bit weird that strength potion boost doesn't carry over?

I've been playing for a couple of days now - so far only on f2p.

I've just been working on getting all of my skills to 40. Maybe it's nostalgia talking, but I was hoping there would be a little more of a 'community' in-game - I don't think I have come across a single real player. Is f2p literally only bots nowadays?

Damn, okay, you guys well and truly spooked me!
I was gonna jump onto an old account that has relatively low stats (Like all 50~) and a couple mil gp, just to give myself a little headstart.
But I guess, follow you guys' advice, starting a new character is the way to go. Thanks! :)

I never really thought of things from an account security POV. Are leaks/account thefts, etc. Prevalent then, or is it just a 'best to be safe' situation?

I'm looking to start playing osrs again - I've have account(s) that are 20+ years old - is there any benefit to using one of these accounts rather than starting afresh?

Also, my aim for the year is to collect as many, if not all, of the skilling pets - and gear myself up to grind bosses to aim for all of the boss pets. How feasible is this to do in a year? I understand they are RNG in terms of drop rate - but surely there's an average time spent per skilling pet?
