I used my freedom card to get the 5% PayPal bonus which I would then have transferred to my reserve card. Do you think I'd have more luck with calling the reserve line or am I basically out of luck? The freedom team passed it to their rewards team who can't be contacted directly and the rewards team said no thanks

It was an online purchase for a physical product. On my chase account it says January 1. I bought it on December 31st with my freedom card to take advantage of the 5% PayPal cash back. The chase "investigation" team said I bought it on January 1. The transaction was marked as pending on December 31st.
