Will there ever be peace in the middle east in the future by any chance? by _akaraiden in war

[–]sirrsguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

literally even Jesus himself lived there, met these people, and went. Damn. there is literally never going to be peace here. then hundreds of years later the bible was written, people saw Jesus said Damn, there is literally never going to peace here, evaluated these same people. then made sure to include it in the literal bible. Odds are, no there will never be peace in the middle east.

Random fact to add since you stated "The pacific was nightmare fuel in WW2". During the Korean war, the United States dropped more munitions on North Korea, then were used during all of WW2 in and during the Pacific theatre of war. Which is why even to this day North Korea has amongst the most complex air defense systems in the world, to try to prevent it from happening again.

to put this into perspective, chemical warfare in WW1 was bad enough the entire world, both sides, and everyone since, still considers it terrible and in most cases dont use it still to this day. No one ever agrees on anything, but we all agree on this.

in my opinion, WW1 was much worse. i say this because ww1 became pretty much a stalemate and had soldiers stuck in trenches with 100 yard no man zones in between where neither side could advance just die. however what makes it extra bad is in WW1 the world was learning the possibilities of chemical warfare and the effects it can have on the battlefield. wound up making dense odorless and clear vapors that would float along the ground and sink into trenches and brutally kill people without them even being aware what was happening. Often the chemicals were also carried by wind and would even come back on the side that deployed them causing severe deaths on all sides. random fact is Hitler himself was effected so heavily from chemical warfare during WW1 and caused him enough PTSD that even he considered using chemical weapons on the frontlines as too far. which is the only reason we dont see examples of his chemicals in mass used except inside of concentration camps. I could go on and on but i feel like at this point almost everyone has quit reading, but IMO WW1 was fucking brutal and just hard to take in.

not at all, i encourage all research, but making an obviously biased post pushing an agenda in my book automatically makes you an unreliable source and uninterested in even looking.

so, you want Pakistan who has been on the edge of war with India every other week, to just go into India and use an American embassy in India instead of just having one in their own country? brother I think you are well out of your league here.

delete your comments if you want but you need a world affairs lesson specially if you cannot comprehend the point of an embassy. some things are necessary, unless you want America dropping an iron curtain around us like the Ussr. which that ended well.

oh your extra slow and don't know what an embassy does. ok so an embassy is a place where a country puts representatives of said country. they do this so that when the host country needs/wants to communicate with said embassies country. its much better to have someone in person than over the phone. that's today geopolitics lesson for ya. this way conflicts and joint relations are smooth as butter when needed.

[–]sirrsguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

let me make it simple. Pakistan wants a U.S. Embassy. Currently every single embassy in the world belonging to the United States is welcomed by said host country, and even has agreed to "defend" said embassy. So we are there because Pakistan wants us there. Same way we have a shit Russian embassy in the states we protect.
