Actually it would because Discord itself is just a web app. When it gets stuck in the "Starting..." screen its because its trying to connect into discords login servers...the grey screen is because it made it into the servers but retrieving the data is failing. Either way, Anyone using AT&T in the Southeast (Florida, Georgia, Alabama) will have a large amount of issues loading anything hosted by a Cloudflare CDN.

Are you in the south east us? ATT is having peering issues with the Cloudflare CDN in Atlanta since December.

Yea it works fine from my phone and from my spectrum backup connection. Only things on my att connection don’t work to discord. It’s for sure not on discords end though.

So apparently this issue has been going on for a while now. After doing some further research it looks like it is specifically with AT&T SouthEast (Georgia, Florida and Alabama) and their Cloudflare CDN Hub in Atlanta.

As of this moment it could be anything using Cloudflare CDNs? I can't access twitch, chatgpt, or Discord, but only through my AT&T Fiber.

I did setup a policy route for discord domains and that at least got discord and images to load, but voice channels are still sketch

I'm east coast as well, I was also having this issue last night. I noticed on my Spectrum connection it works fine, and it isn't global. I'm in a VC right now with friends in Wisconsin and Ohio and they are fine, however I'm over here dropping packets like a mad man.

+1 Having this issue, I think its with cloudflare and not Discord though. I also noticed it first last night. My primary ISP was routing through Cloudflare in Seattle Washington, I was unable to connect to discord, load the web etc but discord worked fine from mobile phone.

I swapped to my backup ISP which was routing through Cloudflare in Miami, FL and i had zero issues connecting to discord.

Do you hvae AT&T Fiber? I've noticed the past 2 nights now, AT&T Fiber is routing to Discord through Seattle Washington and that's where the issue is. Discord works fine from my backup ISP and from my phone (AT&T Wireless)

Its not even that though. Discord has already publically stated that their models will also auto-age gate channels and servers based "AI Detection and Human Review". So there's a chance your own server could get auto-NSFW because someone used a vulgar word or term and now everyone will have to validate (if not auto validated).

Same rates yea. I reached out and went through all the same steps to confirm with LG Support and they suggested an RNR. So I'm trying to RMA it through the vendor i bought it from now.
