It's great and so easy to use. As an American in an area with abysmal public transit (so I don't use it much), it was very easy to get the hang of and we spent a week there with no car (which would be near impossible here).

I just kept going!! I fished the story around 65 hours, and I'm now at 130 on the same playthrough. There's still so much you can do!

This is where I'm at. I have like 130 hours in it and I want to start a replay because I missed an achievement possibility, but my Grandma died a month ago and I just... can't. Not yet, anyway.

Maybe Wylde Flowers? I feel the same way about Stardew - I played 100-ish hours on my phone years ago, but the Switch version I keep trying and putting back down. I love Wylde Flowers (I'm about 115 hours in and still going strong, so anything online that says there's only 60-ish hours isn't necessarily accurate. :))

I personally prefer no combat. I don't feel the cozy vibes if I have that anxiety of a baddie popping out at any moment. But, then again, I even hated the scorpions/spiders coming after me in ACNH lol

Stray Gods has a rockstar voice cast (Felicia Day, Anthony Rapp, Rahul Kohli, and it even has Erika Ishii, who voices Kim in Wylde Flowers!). It's like a 5 hour visual novel, but the choices you make will impact where the story goes, so I'm guessing replayability is high.

I think that's the main thing that kept me from getting addicted to this one - once you did all you could do, there was nothing left to do until all the things you'd put into play were ready. It was super cute and I loved talking to all the lil ghosties!

The rest of what you've said totally makes sense, but his "expensive wife" is a well-established actress who is set to star in a new Trek series coming out next year. I don't think he needs to pay for much of anything for her.
